John’s upcoming schedule. Interesting So, John would be gone, when Adam would have time after the QAL Australian leg. 🤔 Don’t know if this looks promising. They could only rehearse together before Adam goes to Australia. That’s how I read this. And about a week after John returns.

Adam may not get the part of Judas. But why think it is because he is not a big enough star? That is too often the easy reach. He is not exactly unknown or unaccomplished. There are many stars who don't get parts. Not always because they are not big enough. Everyone can't get them and it is normally a matter of preference. We don't even know if Adam tried to get it, do we? If he did, there could be a number of reasons why he was not selected. Maybe they don't think he would fit with Legend. Or he is too much taller than Legend. Too pretty. Voice too different and powerful. I can think of any number of reasons (which may not be correct) as to why he may not be chosen or perfect in their eyes. If he even went for it or has the time and availability when they need him. We don't know. He may or may not. Let's just wait and see. 😊

Logically.....What producer with a live tv responsibility wouldn't at least consider Adam, whose live credentials were proven week after week to the nation? And whose voice is generally accepted as (one of) the best out there. And given that Adam's management would have lobbied hard behind the scenes before any of us knew anything...... And this may not be a PC or popular thought - but for many who have not followed Adam, he still may have a bit of a 'bad-boy' association......would this add a little frisson to his playing Judas? It could work in his favour.

Hmmm. Familiar with the name but not the voice. I checked out a couple of YTs and he has a nice voice, but doesn't seem to be the power singer I associate with JCS. I am curious if he can handle the strong emotional deliveries required by the part. Hmmm. He is known for his emotional singing. I think he'll do fine.

We are always projecting what WE want for Adam and when it doesn't happen we fret. How do we even know it was what he wanted or whether he was available or even tried etc etc etc!!! He is definitely a big enough star, he has the chops and experience, he's already done a made for TV musical where he got great reviews. I think we have to stop making statements about things we know nothing about!

LOL I had to look up frisson. Kinda guessed at the meaning and was right.
Yes, a strong feeling of excitement and fear. ...a thrill.
Since they're being "edgy" with a black Jesus, maybe they'd like to extend that edginess with a gay Judas. Adam has said he wouldn't want to play a regular Judas....would want to play Judas as being "in love" with Jesus. Not sure how you could develop that thru songs...but maybe thru looks, touches when Judas and Jesus are together, and that one kiss. ....Anyway, I need to think about something else while we wait. LOL
