Is this Cassie's calendar? @ematsubarra: my second calendar of 2018 arrived ❤❤❤❤ so happy @adamlambert /video/1 Nope, not mine. Mine has multiple pictures most months, cuz how could you pick just 12 for the year? Different months kinda have different themes. And the calendar itself has daily blocks that you can write appointments in. More practical. To each their own.

I, of one, do not hope that Adam focuses too much on playing up the gay side, not because I don't like him doing that in other roles or places, but just because the role of Judas is so loaded with other topics, that need to come out, if the part is played right, that I think that it would be a tad distracting to introduce another major topic, but who knows, Adam may see a way to integrate it all. I sure don't. Judas was not very liked by the other Apostles, regularly had his conflicts with them. Whether that was because Judas was the one who managed the money for the 12, and therefore had his run-ins with others about money, or whether that was because he just had his own ideas and strong wills, we don't know for sure, but conflict there was. He was not a fisherman, like many of the others. Another point that sets Judas apart, is that Judas is identified as Judas Iscariot, or as the Son of Simon Iscariot. The Iscarii in Aramaic were a band of rebels, who wanted to drive the Romans out of Judea. Was Judas just coming from that background, and this is just meant as an identifier, or was he one of those that believed that Jesus would accomplish that mission, and followed him for those rebellious hopes? The biggest topic around Judas is of course the whole topic of destiny. What is our destiny? If we have a destiny before God, then are some people per-determined for a 'bad' destiny? If Jesus picked him as his apostle, did he set him up to fail, knowing from the get-go, that this man would betray him? If that was a necessary part of the whole plan of salvation, then why is Judas a bad figure for bringing this salvation about? And on and on and on.... books have been written about all that. JCS adds a whole other twist to this, by interpreting that Judas thought he was doing the right thing, and did not know that Jesus would be prosecuted and killed the way he was, and Judas kills himself in desperation over what he finds he has triggered. So, all this is already quite a load to carry, to inhabit in a role. I am not sure, how putting a 'gay' message on this, is either going to work or helping develop anything that is not going to seem rather silly? But who knows, what Adam means by playing the role as being in love with Jesus. Anyhow: Another reason why I think that Adam has the part, is not only all the hints he has given via Instagram, but also by the way he has sung WWTLF in the recent months. Imo, he was preparing mentally for Judas, in the way he performed especially this song. Obviously, Judas and Jesus are both historically saddled with very much shortened lives, and a lot of destiny is hanging over their heads. They both only have 'one sweet moment set aside for us'. In previous QAL performances, WWTLF was performed in the shadows of Freddie. Freddie's life was shortened, so it makes sense to sing it with him in mind. The song was written for Highlander, but the situation of watching a friend slowly die, was mirroring what happened to Freddie himself. And while Adam outsang Freddie on this song from day 1, I did feel that in general interpretation he stayed close to Freddie's version. In the last few weeks though, I saw a change. I saw more musical theater come into the foreground. And the recent performances, where Adam used enunciation, and his spoken voice, and his breath so effectively to add to the dramatic side of the song, really reminded me of him playing a role. And I thought, it might just be Judas. www.youtube.com/watch?v=4h5-viN7ZBc

This Jcs thing is heating up!!! BTW. The producer liked Johns AND Adams tweet to John! IF It happens, not being able to watch it live anyway, it would just be another song from Adam, which I always enjoy ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) ...the exposure isn't bad of course, and as mentioned, Adam got rave critique out of rather meeeh reviews in rhps... Adam has talked about the musical more than once, so I will go out on the limb here and say, he wouldn't hate the part...of course we "know nothing" ...and yes, like all of us, we want Adam to be happy...

Has Legend got acting experience? He was in LaLa Land. I haven't seen it yet, but I think he got good reviews. Thanks! I wonder how big was his role. As Jesus he'd have to practically carry the play. Hopefully he has enough acting skills and confidence to carry it the right direction!

Hopefully he has enough acting skills and confidence to carry it the right direction! I SAW LALA LAND. JOHN LEGEND HAD A SMALL BUT MEATY ROLE.. HE WAS VERY AUTHENTIC AND GOOD IN THE PART. IN AN INTERVIEW HE SAID HE HIRED AN ACTING COACH TO HELP HIM PREPARE FOR THE ROLE... I THINK IT MAY HAVE BEEN A MOVIE FIRST FOR HIM.
