Thank you. Yes, I'm fortunate he still wants me close, but amazingly, his wife seconded the request and actively urged me to buy right next door; I would have been content to just live closer. In the end that's what decided me, because if she hadn't been so proactive, I would not have moved there! (To be fair, my daughter and her husband urged me to move to Houston years ago; I resisted because I knew I couldn't take the long, humid summers.) Being a Tennessean - just let me sadly say - some of the most hot and humid summers I have ever experienced were in the Volunteer State. And, as a reference point, I lived two years in Bangkok that equally compared to my 6 years full-time in TN. Good thing, no monsoons in Tennessee. The TN Valley Authority has an extremely reliable power grid, so just crank the ol’ AC up and you’ll be super fine! And, if Adam ever comes to Nashville again, there are quite a few of us nearby. Laceyrose, hi and welcome to East Tennessee! The Cumberland Plateu is a nice place, snowing there now. I am about another 80 minutes East of where you are moving, down in the valley between the Cumberland Plateu and the Smokey Mountains. Eenie, what part of TN do you live in? I have lived in the East TN valley for over 30 years. I laugh when people here say it is hot and humid. Even the most hot and humid day I've experienced in East TN has not been nearly as bad as the typical summer day in Louisiana where I grew up, which has a climate very much like Houston's.

Too funny, I was born in New Orleans and cannot tolerate the weather there. East TN may be different then where I live - middle TN about 30 miles South of Kentucky. I'll have to say that summer days are quite intolerable. I garden from about 5 a.m. til 10 a.m. and then I have to come inside. Perhaps I've become less and less intolerant. I'm up in the hills just about 20 miles west of the plateau. Right now, I'm in Northern Va for the holidays and we've been hitting close to 60 degrees off and on in December. I just talked to friends in TN and it's rainy and cold. Who can really predict the weather! All I can say is that Adam's hair would probably frizz like heck in the South!

Ronnefeldt's English Breakfast is my favorite tea! I love it so much ♥️♥️ and that's how I randomly used the name as nickname lol. I was drinking the tea at the moment.
And I live in Gangnam in Seoul. Yes, that Gangnam Style by Psy in 2012 😅😅 Not too far away from Itaewon 😊
