What director/producer puts the guy in a pink jacket in front of the pink background. Geez, folks do better.

Oh, no way!! Not in this price range. He actually should consider pulling it off the market, then putting it back in a month or two because at 100+ days, it is "stale." Yes, take it off the market for a couple of months and evaluate the listing feedback. The location, lot size etc are not its problems. It is a beautifully redone home but there some very difficult to resolve issues. I think there are several drawbacks on the house with the biggest being the cost and size versus the number of usable bedrooms. With only two, the potential buyer market is immediately whittled down. Second, the lower floor has some nice flexible space but that whole level is accessed only by going outside making it problematic and inconvenient to really utilize for most. Add in the choice to add the huge reflection pools rather than real pool, all the maintenance expense and none of the desirability of pool ownership. And don’t even get me started on my personal petpeeve, the destruction of the architecturally appropriate signature glass block window.

I'm hoping my son will still like me at that age. He's just 18 now and thinking of moving out. Best wishes on your move. Thank you. Yes, I'm fortunate he still wants me close, but amazingly, his wife seconded the request and actively urged me to buy right next door; I would have been content to just live closer. In the end that's what decided me, because if she hadn't been so proactive, I would not have moved there! (To be fair, my daughter and her husband urged me to move to Houston years ago; I resisted because I knew I couldn't take the long, humid summers.) Being a Tennessean - just let me sadly say - some of the most hot and humid summers I have ever experienced were in the Volunteer State. And, as a reference point, I lived two years in Bangkok that equally compared to my 6 years full-time in TN. Good thing, no monsoons in Tennessee. The TN Valley Authority has an extremely reliable power grid, so just crank the ol’ AC up and you’ll be super fine! And, if Adam ever comes to Nashville again, there are quite a few of us nearby.

Happy Holiday to everyone. I'm holding my lil celebration and having Christmas dinner. Just a few close friends and relatives coming and to celebrate my new dog Remy. He's a three year old Rhodesian Ridgeback, who had benign neglect. Barely able to be walked when I got him a year ago and my blessing is Remy's complete turnaround. I still miss Minnie who was with me for 19 years, but I feel certain even Minnie would want Remy to be loved. So best wishes to you all here and hoping the new year is the best for all of us in 2018. I am so glad that you are honoring Minnie by rescuing a new dog and giving him a wonderful life as you did Minnie. Boo and I are spending time Christmas ever visiting the Children's Hospital in Atlanta as a therapy dog team. Spreading the love! Stories of dogs able to recover from neglect and trust in us once again make my heart sing. Best to you and Remy!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to my Atop family....will be away from the computer tomorrow , going up to my parents' house to spend the day eating, drinking and visiting with family (my favorite part of Christmas). Not a very social person, so tomorrow night I'll be exhausted for sure. Hope Adam and Sauli and friends have a wonderful Christmas also, however they choose to celebrate. Crossing my fingers that there'll be news soon, of the music kind, and JCS kind.
