Happy Holiday to everyone. I'm holding my lil celebration and having Christmas dinner. Just a few close friends and relatives coming and to celebrate my new dog Remy. He's a three year old Rhodesian Ridgeback, who had benign neglect. Barely able to be walked when I got him a year ago and my blessing is Remy's complete turnaround. I still miss Minnie who was with me for 19 years, but I feel certain even Minnie would want Remy to be loved.
So best wishes to you all here and hoping the new year is the best for all of us in 2018.

Could be and he is very close to the street.. It also has no yard to speak of for Pharaoh to play in and run around in. Another negative is the lack of parking space when he has his big parties. Often we become disenchanted by the first house we buy. We realize there are features we want that we didn't know while shopping, and features we thought we would like that it turned out we didn't. As to why it doesn't sell, I have no idea. But it does not appeal to me. It is stunning but impersonal. It feels very cold. Not warm and welcoming. How much did he buy it for? Is he losing money at the current price considering all the modifications he made to it? Actually there's a lot of parking because there is street parking on this street. But I doubt that matters as most of his friends would Uber it there anyway. I love this house & can not imagine one more perfect for Adam, than this one. The location is perfect for his life. My guess on why it is not selling is because of the backyard. He remodeled that way too specific for him. Also, this house had trouble selling right before Adam bought it. It even got pulled off the market at one time then put back on.

I am so glad that you are honoring Minnie by rescuing a new dog and giving him a wonderful life as you did Minnie. Boo and I are spending time Christmas ever visiting the Children's Hospital in Atlanta as a therapy dog team. Spreading the love!

Adam's house.....It's all beautiful but have always thought that having no pool would be a major detraction in LA. If new buyer wanted to put one in, most of that gorgeous hard landscaping would have to be uprooted.....

Is he losing money at the current price considering all the modifications he made to it? To me it seems like a upscale neighborhood and I'd think it's usually very quiet. I'd also read somewhere that generally it takes awhile for properties in the area to sell. Think the average was maybe 2-3 years. I think it'd be hard living in a place and paying the mortgage while waiting for it to sell. Sort of like you plan to move on, but are still waiting to leave where you are at. I remember how stressful it was having a new apartment and paying rent there and at the rented house I resided at. I lived at the top of a steep hill and it had snowed, was trapped for over a month, as the moving truck could not get up the damn hill. It was rather depressing to say the least, waiting til conditions improved enough so I could leave. Living in a place that's all packed up was demoralizing because mentally I was not longer there, but couldn't remove myself physically.
