Yeah, it's a stretch but on the other hand, why post it now? The caption reads "adamlambert Bites the Dust in Manchester". Adam Lambert biting the dust on his Queen career in Manchester? Would make more sense if it were Wembley, the final show - but maybe he didn't have a biting the dust clip for that. I certainly hope that this does NOT mean that QAL will be ending their touring for good in either Manchester or at Wembley. The original Wembley Stadium was demolished from 2002–2003 and that's where Queen played with Freddie. The new stadium has 90,000 seats so how could QAL possibly fill Wembley Stadium for 2 nights as a solo act this spring? That would mean 180,000 tickets sold and fans have already seen QAL in the UK this past fall both in Manchester and in London. I don't think that Q&A will abruptly stop performing together, but as Brian and Roger are not getting any younger they will likely modify their scheduling of live performances. The current touring rigor is probably too much for them as well as for Adam's solo career.

I share your doubts about the possibility for QAL to fill Wembley twice (if the rumours are indeed true). It’s interesting, that there are less doubts about this on the Queen-Forums.😀 I just want to add, that it was stated, that QAL would have at least 2 support acts. The bands Bastille and Extreme were mentioned. I don’t know them, but I guess their fans could fill some seats? I truly hope that when QAL does stop touring, they will continue to do one-offs now and then when they want to. They don't have to do huge tours. It's exhausting and really takes a toll mentally and physically,, esp. when you get a lot older. I would love to see QAL perform from time to time for special concerts, occasions, etc. It's less stressful then touring and still gives the fans their QAL fix. I think that this is how it seems to us, but there are other things to contend, that we typically might not think of. Brian needs 4-6 weeks before an event to slowly build up those guitar player calluses on the finger tips. That is a lot of work for just a one-off concert. At least a group of at least 5-6 concerts would therefore make a bit more sense. Then there is the consideration of the whole support crew. Many of these are specialized workers who know exactly what to do, you cannot just go hire temporary workers on a spur's moment. If they are working only part time for QAL, then they need other jobs in the middle between jobs. The more interrupted the concert segments become, the harder is it to keep a core crew together and to have them available for a specific set of shows. If it is only a small number of concerts, it will be less and less significant for individuals to be part of that next leg and slowly but surely, the clock-work crew that you once had, is just not there anymore, because the team has fallen apart. Then, there is the logistical overhead. When you look at promotion, venue booking, tour planning, logistics, hiring, paper work, etc. it is almost the same effort to plan 30 concerts than to plan just 2-3. If the venue is an arena like Wembley, or a BBC NYE concert, well then that is so special that this becomes a different story, but for just a normal venue, it is hard to justify this much overhead for a small number of events. And there are probably many more aspects that I cannot even think about at the moment, that make them plan in larger chunks rather than smaller ones. As far as stopping, I think that Brian has caught the performance bug to such a degree that he just does not want to stop. I get the sense that for him the end of a tour segment is the most dreaded part of the whole experience. Btw, I think that is true for Adam too to some degree, he is just younger and puts it away more easily. Adam wants a break after being on the road for a while, but he sure likes to have something to look forward to, to overcome the post-tour blues, I sense. I do hope though, that in the future, they do plan a few more off days between concerts, just to catch their breath. At this point, they surely have all the experience and any ability in the world to influence the schedule according to their needs, and we can presume that they will do what feels right to them. But yes, two nights back to back at Wembley just seems enormously exhausting, especially with only one travel day to get back from Glasgow before that. It is amazing, what they take on, at their age. And I am very grateful that they are doing it for all of us.

I suppose it would be a stretch to think the Manchester post has anything to do with the rumored show there prior to the Wembley shows. Nothing from Adam or Sauli on IG, other than likes. Wonder if Adam is in the studio...or not...yet. It’s the song title! What the heck are you all talking about?!

Just stretching really far since Brian mentioned Wimbley stadium in two IG posts lately that we discussed yesterday might be "hints" and the rumored summer stadium shows are in Glasgow, Manchester and Wembley. We were just grabbing at straws for any hint about anything.

I am sure those stadium shows are more than a rumor. Just not sure if the dates are 100% correct.

Idk if there's any truth to the stadium dates, although I doubt them...but the Farewell part came out of the fan's imagination...from those who want it to stop... Both,Brian and Roger, are truly invigorated, Roger was literally jumping from joy...why would they plan to stop now? I'm sure they'll take a break and start planning the next tour...May be on a smaller scale...2019 Will be the 40th anniversary of Live Killers.. Adam just needs to fit his solo tour somewhere...May be most of 2019 for solo and end of the year into 2020 QAL again...ok.. they should ask me...

I will take them any way I can get them. But, this productions is incredibly complicated and expensive to create, transport and produce. They almost have to do a series of shows to make it at all cost effective.
