that is sweet of Terrance to look after Pharaoh...It came to mind that with all the moving Terrance might have been staying with Adam for a few days until he is settled a little at least and the new place is "livable"...or he was just happy to get out for one night...anyways it just seemed to me that maybe it wasn't just that Pharaoh needed someone to look after him but that it in some way also helped Terrance...maybe Adam went straight from the studio to the fashion show (now I'm REALLY projecting my wishes^^)...the fashion show was rather "early", late afternoon, early evening?

Adam was never purely a teen idol to begin with. Yes, he has had teen fans but his demo is older. Maybe that's an advantage in the long run. I hope he adapts well and just moves along as his age evolves with his music. Diversify if possible into other things. Dunno what's gonna happen to Katy. She's had a tremendous run, but the tweens and teens do grow up. It is hard to use album sales as a measure of popularity comparing a 2017 release (Witness) to a 2013 release (Prism) because of the shift to streaming. > A four year break is really long in pop music. Fans move on. > There was no reason to buy Witness -- it just did not have a great song on it. And the singles all were featuring XXXXXX -- feels formulaic to me. BUT her subsequent concert tix sales are great. So I think it is a matter of it wasn't a great album, the music. But she still is really popular. It may be that she puts out another great pop album -- or maybe she moves on to other things. No, we do know that she is very popular. Her concert sales was the point of Q3's post She has sold out arenas around the world on this current tour. Went to one of her LA shows and she has plenty of young fans. Doesn't look like anyone has "outgrown" her. I think Katy will be just fine. I found her label saying she needs a "comeback" kind of weird. On the verge of being non supportive. She's had phenomenal success & deserved the right to "experiment" on an album, even if it's only sold 850K!

Those calling her a flop are not correct, imo. But outgrowing pop was not about the fans but her outgrowing dancing in the clubs. Same with Gaga. She seems to be trying to move past that. The very young acts are pretty much front and center in pop. Right now it is all about the ID guys and Camilla, Mendes, and Selena. I much prefer Katy but the kids seem to be more into the kids.

Lol...Imma have to come in and defend some of these "kids" (not all)...they're talented and hard working (and so is probably Katy)...all I'm trying to say is, that their success doesn't come from nothing...

KP has had an incredible run and her Idol judging gig will likely boost and sustain her career quite nicely. JLo is a perfect example for that. I know it is not all about $$ but how many millions is KP cashing in for Idol? That's a nice cushion for all sorts of things. How does this tie in with Adam? He has a nice cushion too, which is probably a good thing to remember whenever we feel a bit angsty. There are a lot of folks worse off than top earning music artists who happen to feel the negative effects of the rapid pace and changes in the music industry. Stuff like that happens in the corporate world too. #perspective
