If the rumor turns out to be true and QAL does a Vegas residency, how would that work? Much smaller venue, so would they be able to afford the whole set and production? Would it even fit in the venue? And, when folks do these residencies, are there shows nightly? cuz that would be too demanding for Adam's voice, not to mention Brian and Roger's stamina. Or would the shows be shorter? And, if they kept to their current 2 shows on and then at least one day off, would that be profitable for the venue to have those off nights without an act? They certainly couldn't break down the QAL set and substitute another. I don't see how it could work in its present form. But, what do I know about Vegas residencies? Other than the musical aspects, the show is staging, lights, and video projection. Looking at an interior picture of the Park Theater venue, I don't think that they could have the catwalk or B-stage. But they did not have these in the 2015 Las Vegas shows at the Hard Rock and the show is doable without them. They might have to do without the CO2 jets in I Want it All, but that is not a big deal. All theaters have the ability to handle lighting, although they might have to modify it a bit for the venue, but not a big deal. The biggest issue is whether or not the video projection screens fit. At the Hollywood Bowl the rear and front video screens (the one the robot appears on at the show opening) fit. But there was no way to hang the big half rounded screen near the ceiling of the arenas. This screen is in sections and they were able to put the sections on stage on either side of the rear video screen. It worked pretty well. I suspect they may have to do this at the Park Theater. If you look at the Park Theater web site: www.mgmresorts.com/en/entertainment/monte-carlo/park-theater.htmlNone of the artists do shows more than 2 nights in a row. Park Theater Seating Chart: www.mgmresorts.com/content/dam/MGM/monte-carlo/park-theater/park-theater-seating-chart.pdfHere is a description from the production architects about the modifications needed for the Hollywood Bowl. www.stufish.com/project/queen-and-adam-lambertQueen and Adam Lambert at the Hollywood Bowl, LA.For a 2 night special, the show was adapted to fit into the Hollywood Bowl. Here, we hung the Queen Halo in the centre of the Hollywood Bowl iconic halo. The band riser sat on the house stage together with the rear screen and lighting. We reformatted the top front video screen to be used on the sides of the stage to create a long video screen that wrapped the whole stage creating a dynamic video environment for the band to rock the audience of the Bowl. These two open air performances were electric and very well received from the audience.

cassie ...I've thought about Adams voice too and figured that Celine Dion does it too...Musical stars on Broadway do it too...I just assumed Adam might have to "houshold" with his voice but he would manage...touring sees him singing a lot as well ...Roger and Brians stamina is another thing, but yes, the set place, not having to travel will likely make it easier...although, not knowing any of them personally, I figured they would be the kind to bring their joy to fans all over the world ...my first concert in November went by sooo fast...and now following the pictures on the thread is seems like that all over...it's like they've started, and all of a sudden Adam is in his pink suit, and on to STL and CLTCL Check the Park Theater web site. Artists do not do shows more than 2 nights in a row. So it is no different than touring in terms of show frequency. Here is the current schedule. (Only listing the artists with 3 or more shows. There are other 1 or 2 night shows.) BRUNO MARS February 2018 | 14, 16, 17, 19 Ricky Martin March 2018 | 15, 17, 18, 21, 24, 25 May 2018 | 23, 26, 27, 30 June 2018 | 2, 3 CHER May 2018 | 2, 4, 5, 9, 12, 13, 16, 18, 19 See: www.mgmresorts.com/en/entertainment/monte-carlo/park-theater.htmlThanks for the info, Dancy. Just the answers I was looking for. So, they may have to scale back some of the huge lighting rigs and screens, and eliminate the second stage, but it could be adapted. I think it is wonderfully ironic that, if I am remembering rightly, Adam auditioned for the Queen musical in Vegas and didn't make it past the initial audition, and now he may be the frontman for the original band Queen in Vegas. Sweeeeeet.

To add to what others have said: I too checked out Park Theatre. With the shows running similar to their schedule now...maybe 2 in a row, a day or two off for a few weeks is easier than diff cities and venues. The set up is done once. They can go right to their rooms after a show. No travel, no time zones to contend with. Residencies vary --some do it for a month then come back later for a few weeks,. Others are short stays like B Mars. Whatever works for the artist pribably works for the venue.
Bruno Mars tickets sem to be more in the 300-870 range. From the seating left at this point even those far away from the stage were 600.00. The income be about 3 million a night. Ricky Martin and Cher had ticket for 55.00 and up and the same ticket that was a 600.00 for Mars was 160.00 for Martin.
It seems the ticket price is whatever the market for that headliner can bear. If QAL average ticket was 300.00 they could pull in a 1 million a night if close to a sell out. I guess whatever the cost of developing staging and salaries etc would be the negotiating factors. The old Q set up may work better on that stage. And I read somewhere thst they have their own screen system....although the furthest away from the stage is ...something like 145 feet, which is not that far.
PS ---Reviewers ... a few....said the seating is horrible/ small and uncomfortable...not designed for anyone over 5 foot 4. Plus the drink cup holder is by your elbow so there is no place to put your arm and drinks were spilled all over everybody by the end of the show. Drinks/concessions etc are expensive so they make money that way too.
I would not worry ....if they do this they will make what they want to make.
