I swear it looks like they just put Brandon’s head on Adam’s body! LOL! Na, the legs look too short. But when I saw the revelation of that costume and Brandon’s reaction to it at the panel yesterday, I got the same feeling: he‘s not really comfortable with it and it wasn’t really made for him. I could be completely wrong, but that‘s how it looked to me. is there a video of the revelation?

Of course we don't know for sure, but I would LOVE to believe that Adam WAS the first choice and just couldn't fit it in. It's a real shame, IMO. Adam is the whole Judas package. And yeah, that outfit has Lambert written all over it. It does sound like this production has been pretty slapdash to say the least. Yes, the outfit looks completely like something Adam would want to wear. And it only struck me, because of the more „boring“ (IMO) costumes of Jesus and the others.

It’s on Facebook, completely with a panel (interview with producers, main cast and some others).

Notice the tattoos too, especially the one on the collarbone. Brandon has no tattoos.

Notice the tattoos too, especially the one on the collarbone. Brandon has no tattoos. I saw them, too, but thought they are Brandon‘s. If they were Adam’s, they changed them. Maybe, Brandon will get them painted on? Edit: I looked back, and I cannot see Adam in this body. The sixpack would definitely not be his. And the tattoo on the collarbone is more a chest tattoo. Looks too low to me. Maybe a computer generated body with Brandon‘s head? They were only called design drafts (or something like this) after all. Not sure, if they already put these costumes on.

I was also surprised, that Brandon said, he doesn’t know the musical that well until some weeks ago. Somehow it sounded, as if they asked him to take the part. Not that he really wanted it. It was all a little weird. But I‘m glad, Adam is not part of it. 👍

marionm I think you are right. Could bet that the costumes were designed for Adam! The pants are very like the Skingraf he wears on stage QAL. Proof he had the part for at least some time. Wonder why it fell through. I'll watch JSC cause I love musicals and I love Sara. Adam would give up other projects for solo music and Queen. Schedule conflict maybe. My theory, which is probably 100% wrong, is that the fucked up unorganized producers, took too long to get rehearsals started & so Adam had to bow out and be replaced. If I remember correctly, at one time, Craig had tweeted that rehearsals were starting the end of January. This team doesn't even know how they are distributing tickets and the LIVE show is only a month away. It is almost a relief, really. Imo, A scheduling conflict is far more believable than Adam was not big enough. It seemed impossible for him to fit it in with Queen and solo album to finish before Vegas and the summer shows? But wow, that outfit spells Adam completely.

He is gay and is thanking his inspirations! ❤️ They tagged teamed to keep Blake from getting him by blocking Blake. He was quite good although I am not into country. Kelly wanted a country artist BAD and guess what.... I do watch The Voice and I like the other Adam fine. I must not have any taste since I have lowered myself to watching a singing competition lol I watch it too! I like seeing the talent and hearing their stories. I do fast forward through a lot of the judges stuff though. It will be interesting to see how the AI remake will go.

I couldn't make out a reaction to the outfit though...when they showed the outfit, the other guy was talking and explaining... ETA: it's at 13:30 www.facebook.com/PaleyCenter/videos/10157211516962571/ETA 2: Not to drag things down but I can't help feel a little sad for Adam. We know Adam wanted to play the part like REALLY bad, he said so as of last summer. From Adam likes, tweets and follows, that Brandon guy admitting he wasn't really familiar of the material until a couple of weeks ago and the Judas outfits looking 1000% Adam it does seem likely that Adam had it and as Patti said the missed start on the rehearsals made things impossible for Adam schedule wise. I have only watched bits of this panel and from the answers Sarah is the only who seems to have a connection to the musical. Both John and Brandons answers sounded, nonchalant like they were offered the part and just simply took it.

I haven't taken the time to educate myself on the behind the scenes stuff of JCS, but I am happy to settle this topic (for myself) with the strong assumption that there was a scheduling conflict that kept Adam from playing his dream role.
