My theory, which is probably 100% wrong, is that the fucked up unorganized producers, took too long to get rehearsals started & so Adam had to bow out and be replaced. If I remember correctly, at one time, Craig had tweeted that rehearsals were starting the end of January. This team doesn't even know how they are distributing tickets and the LIVE show is only a month away. It is almost a relief, really. Imo, A scheduling conflict is far more believable than Adam was not big enough. It seemed impossible for him to fit it in with Queen and solo album to finish before Vegas and the summer shows? But wow, that outfit spells Adam completely. I agree for the first time ever ,I believe Adam was slated for the Judas part.. The outfits totally convinced me.Nobody else would be so glittery, nobody. Just a guess ,I even Have a feeling that Adam may have recommended his( understudy). When Adam said I'll be watching.. He knows so many Broadway folks . Just my gut feeling. To add I'm not very sorry he's not in this production... it seems too tame, but I guess we'll see.I want to see Adam roar ...IMHO, This would mean Broadway or the movies, especially if he wanted Judas to be attracted to Jesus in a sexual way.. Not onTV on Easter and not in America...LOL
