He has to be worth more than $16 million. I remember that figure years ago so it's not taking into account his TOH tour or his subsequent Queen tours or even his XFactor stint. It's still funny to me to read fans of others saying that he's a flop and that he's riding coat tails. Sure, Queen helped his net worth but he made $6 million and $5 million a year before these big Queen tours.

Ha! I don't know which one is correct but I do know that one that has him at 16 million has not updated him in a long time. I check that one often for a lot of stars. They last updated Adam's around the time he toped the Forbes list for highest earning Idols. Since then he has had the Queen S. American tour. The OH solo and Queen European festival tour plus the Queen world tour in N/A, Europe and Australia/NZ. XfAU. They update Carrie on a regular basis and Jhud gets pretty regular updates. I can't remember the last time they did a change for Kelly but it has been a really long time. I often wondered what makes them do an update cause that is the one that most always use.

He commented once to remind folks.....I forget exactly what he said...but the inference was ...he said very softly...but...he was not taking home that full amount.
There are a lot of expenses....he does not bank all that he earns. We all know he has to pay Income and state taxes. That gobbles up half. It appeared to me those stats that were given out would be what he earned. And even art that the things they say they reported did not include endorsements that year. But the way these sites report earning as net worth to me is inaccurate. Fees/write-offs to managers, accountants, publicists, etc. play into whatever he can put into " savings". Savings/ home equity etc to me means net worth, not what he earns.
We will never know.

There are a lot of expenses....he does not bank all that he earns. Just loke everyone he has to pay Income and state taxes. That gobbles up half. Fees/write-offs to managers, accountants, publicists, etc. play into whatever he can put into " savings". Yes, but that pretty much goes for everyone so it's all relative. I make a particular salary and when asked while interviewing, that's the figure I give. My take home is a lot less. ETA: From celebritynetworth.com: The figures are acquired from all publicly available information including salaries, real estate holdings, divorces, record sales, royalties and endorsements. The net worths use a proprietary formula that removes estimated taxes, manager's fees, agent fees, and lifestyle expenses.

When Forbes does the list of highest earning Idols or others in acting and music, they always say the figure is after expenses (manages, accountants, etc) but before taxes. But net worth is totally different. So whatever the net worth figure is for Adam, it has not changed to include his last solo tour and the Queen tours. So all we are saying is that it would have gone up since then and not that we know what his expenses and taxes are. They do that for all the stars tho and not just Adam.

Thanks, Adam! I don't think it is a coincidence that he picks up on what was discussed here the day before He knows we are "hungry". Please keep feeding us stuff that also brings back happy memories for you. We'll eat it up!!

Lol, Graciejane, not seeing the appeal, but ok....to each his/her own.
Re Adam's net worth, all I can say he works damn hard for what he earns....and you can't say that about everybody that has lots of $$$$.
I'm so excited about new music....new music in general actually. Was window shopping at Itunes, but nothing got me excited lol. I was going to buy Calum Scott's first album, but didn't like the music...really like his voice though.
I'm disappointed about the music Isaiah is putting out, and I really liked his voice on XF.
Checked out Anthony Callea's new album....booooooring lol.
ADAM!!!!!! You're my last hope...I need new music!
