I wish Adam would do a little Red House and/or Lilac Wine type songs. I loved Red House when he sang that song - so sexy. I love when he is being sexy (which is most of the time of course) but something about the blues when he sings it affects me. Whatever, I will take anything from him at this point. Anything at all.

Z108 @z108net When Is Adam Lambert's Next Album Coming Out? dlvr.it/QQvvdm Could the next Adam Lambert album finally be inching closer? The "Ghost Town" singer hasn't released a record since 2015's The Original High, and though fans have been getting plenty of the American Idol alum during his live treks with Queen, they're also getting antsy for new music. And Lambert, apparently, is ready to appease the masses. During a recent interview with Wonderland Magazine, he said fans have been "waiting long enough" for new music, explaining that he's already been working on his next project. "I’ve really been trying to explore what I want the sound and subject matter to be,” he told the outlet. “I want it to be authentic and real and something that felt natural to me. Because it’s such a competitive industry.” Based on his release pattern, Lambert should have an album out this year: For Your Entertainment, Trespassing, and The Original High were all released within three years of each other. But from the sounds of it, it doesn't seem likely that he'll have a full-length ready in 2018. He could, however, have a single, and has already promised just that: In February, he teased a "yummy" new record on Twitter and said new music will be out this year. "Probably written about 35ish [songs], he wrote, responding to a follower's question. "Not far enough in the process to pick a single. Still lots to be done." Without more details, it's hard to guess when the next Lambert record might arrive, but the end of 2019 seems like a feasible target. Until then, keep your ears peeled for a new song. END of 2019! No, no, no.

You seem a bit frustrated. I am too sometimes, but right now I feel really positive about things to come. The AMAs... let's face it, they happened at the beginning of his recording career and they set the tone and pace for his journey, at least here in the US. Adam has no regrets, and I believe him. Big picture. I am glad he has friends that he can laugh and play with and that he is one of the very few who has achieved a certain status - making a more than decent living with what he loves to do. I trust the journey. I didn't think AMAs when I read the article, I thought Album cover as I think it had more lasting impact. I think that there is still the spectre of the AMAs out there for some people who know who Adam is but who are not fans. I'll bet that for many of these non-fans, the name "Adam Lambert" brings to mind "that gay guy from Idol who kissed that guy on TV." For many AMA viewers, this was the first and only time they ever saw Adam. And it stuck in their minds. It defined who Adam was to them. And as far as they're concerned, that's who he still is. If those viewers didn't like Adam's actions on the AMAs, they sure wouldn't have been interested in his album covers. Or maybe his album covers just reinforced their AMA impression. I get as frustrated as anyone else who loves Adam. To us, the AMAs is ancient history. It happened, but it's over. I love looking forward, not back, when it comes to his continued success. I want people of all types to love his music enough to buy it. They don't have to care about his sexuality or his love life or his friends or his dog or his family. I just want them to hear the music, like it, and buy it.

For me, Adam is the sexiest when he is sensual - and I prefer subtle undertones versus over the top stuff

I am still hoping that Adam's music and talent will take center stage this time. It always seems that his enormous talent is overlooked and takes a backseat. Male LGBT artists don't seem to be doing well right now in the US. Sam's new song is going nowhere. Troye, after all the hoopla over his sexuality, didn't go far. How is going back to the AMA mess helpful to anyone? I think it hurt Adam in the US. Feels like moving backward instead of forward, imo. The media will love to make that the focus again and again and again, instead of looking at how much he has accomplished in a tough and often unfair environment. Ive said this many times.. But I wish the gay community would support their own artists more.. Can you imagine if that community acted like the African American Community does in supporting their singers/ actors etc..Success breeds success.. and numbers count. IMHO,If there was widespread support from this community more support and success would follow. Adam was a bit of a,being out ,right away pioneer in the music business,so I think he will always be asked how have things changed, etc. I do agree the gay stuff does get real tiresome and talking about all that Adam has accomplished would be soooo great. He is very famous around the world . If America seems to lag behind, it is what it is ,but it can change BTW Janelle Manae has come out as Queer (bi-sexual)in Rolling Stone magazine... IMHO The more artists who come out, the better for the gay community and the world. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tEddixS-UoUAdam even said in one interview (a few years back) that the gay community should be more supportive of their own like they support the divas. He was immediately attacked and told he needed to make music they liked. Odd cause he made a point of saying the Trespassing album was for his community. I guess many did not see it that way, or appreciate the gesture, cause that album went nowhere fast. I think for so many years there were not many out gay artists to support so the Beyoncé, Kelly Clarkson, Madonna, Gaga etc were it. Now they do have some out there but the main support for Sam and Adam seem to come from outside the community tho many inside do support them. But my guess is, you will need support across the board for commercial success so that should be and still is the goal, I think. Halsey has a good balance. She discusses her bisexuality but does not make it the main or only focus of her career. She is doing great. Hayley Kiyoko by contrast, talks non-stop and the media focus is all about her sexuality and she is not off to a good start. I think Adam has always had a good balance even when the media has not. He tries to keep much of the focus on his music and career but it is not always easy. But he is a great role model, imo. The more widespread and mainstream success he has, the better spotlight it brings to his community.
