Since it's quiet, I thought I would share something and it is definitely related to Adam. I just got back from a 5 mile run getting ready for my 3rd annual 5K run in beautiful Door County this weekend with my sons and grandchildren. Why is this special? As I was running today and my playlist includes a lot of Adam and Queen, I started to remember how this almost 66 year old started this running adventure. I went to see Adam for the first time 2 years ago for his Original High Tour. I was sitting in the front and you know that feeling when you think he is looking at you? I suddenly had an epiphany that I can do anything I set out to do. It dawned on me this former theatre person, dancer and singer could get back on the horse. I came home from that concert and started slow walking and eating healthy. Two years later I'm 40 pounds lighter, no longer ache, dance and sing again. OK, I'm not a spring chicken so I'm not going blazes, but I'm having fun. It helps that my 11 year old granddaughter is a fabulous dancer, winning awards and adores Adam too. I've passed on my grease painted blood. Another revelation was being able to admit that I'm queer. It explains a lot of my past self hate. I'm not chasing relationships obviously, but damn it I'm supporting everyone's right to be who they are. That's what I have to thank Adam for every day. Funny the thoughts that come to you when you're running alone on that rush that comes with doing something positive. Back to lurking but I've been keeping that one to myself for a long time. Just when I need some encouragement your post comes along and makes me feel uplifted. Let us all know how your 5K goes - it's something I'm working on too. Let me know if you need more encouragement. It's all about one step at a time. Soon you're looking back at where you were and can take pride at where you are.

I do recall Aiken made a comment about Adams vocals destroying his ear drums. I remember thinking sour grapes much haha. I have not watched idol this season. Prob only watch when or if Adam appears. But I don't think she was eliminated because she is not the "best" singer. I mean how many times in idol history has the best singer won this show? Hmmm. I Think Clay might b a bit out of touch here. Shes a bit theatrical. Adam was kinda a cross between Madonna and Elvis I Thought. Maybe she was not likeable? Like I Said I have not watched much this season. Have seen a few pics of her. Aiken says "Lost". He does realize she was eliminated right. She did not lose the show. She is a drag queen. So i guess maybe audience had trouble relating? I don't know.

It's May 2018. Been waiting for this. Stars starting to align, flowers starting to bloom, change is gonna come and I'm feeling good I feel like something is in the works and just getting ready to happen. I don't know about the stars, but there is something different in the wind. It's raining in Tucson tonight -- which means we will be getting even more flowers. {It rarely rains in Tuscon in May.} And I really agree -- feels line things are aligning.

This gives me hope and makes me feel good. I'm patient, but it sure is time for new music. ❤️💃🕺

I hadn't thought about it but you're absolutely right. The only one I can think of was Kelly Clarkson. And "best" is totally subjective. I thought Melinda Doolittle was the best of her season and she only placed third. I also preferred Bo Bice over Carrie Underwood.

I Think theirs one already lol. But in the context of Adam possibly being on the show in some capacity. Looking at all the idol winners since 2002; 2002: Kelly Clarkson Runner Up: Justin Guarini. Kelly was the best singer that season. 2003: Rueban Studdard Runner Up: Clay Aiken. I Think you could argue Clay was the best singer. 2004: Fantasia Barrino Runner Up: Diana De Garmo. I think Fantasia was the best singer. But Hudson was good too. 2005: Winner: Carrie Underwood Runner Up: Bo Bice I think Constantine was the best singer. 2006: Winner: Taylor Hicks Runner Up: Katherine Mcphee. I think Daughtry was the best singer. 2007: Winner: Jordan Spark Runner Up: Blake Lewis. I Think Melinda Doolittle was best singer. 2008: Winner: David Cooke Runner up: David Archellta Cooke was best singer that year 2009: Winner: Kris Allen Runner Up: That guy. Lambert was the best singer in the history of the series.

gypsyladee That is So great! Very inspiring! I've seen people younger than you use their age as an excuse. Good luck! On a topic a few days passed: Yeah, for a performance this weekend. Hoping we'll have footage. petrajo: I feel the same way lol...I do hope things are heating up, it's about time. Adams "explanation" that he just wanted to really explore the sound and direction he wanted to go did help my understanding and patients a lot.

Adam said music after the tour, so I don’t expect anything until after the tour. Vegas dates would be nice for those who like to make plans.
