"Confused" was probably not the right word - I just picked up on Brian's wording in his explanation - however, I am a bit surprised that the film's focus is so much on Freddie. I am sure there are reasons for it. My immediate reaction is that I would be more interested in the history of the band etc. but I will reserve judgement until I have seen the movie Freddie enthusiasts are probably thrilled. cheriemelissa No doubt!! I remember reading somewhere awhile back that Brian said the film would be basically Freddie's story so I wasn't surprised. Wish I could remember when Dr. Bri said that. Maybe in a tweet. That said, it looks like there will be plenty about the group interaction of all the band members. There must have been some ego clashes along the way but they stayed together which is more than can be said of most rock bands.

Just my two cents about Idol this year. I never got into viewing it due to watching "Unforgotten" on my local PBS Sunday night (great show) and also because I'm not a big fan of any of the three judges. For me, Idol sort of ended after Adam and I was someone who had watched it and voted since season one. I did watch every later episode where Adam was on the show as a substitute judge, or a performer, or a mentor, or whatever but just felt that they would NEVER again have another contestant who could even approach Adam's talent.
However, I must admit that I have been watching X-Factor UK since it's been carried in the US and enjoy it immensely. Part of my enjoyment is that I really love the judges, especially Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne.

What is confusing about it? This is so silly, but cute. I so happy to see Adam in the studio working on a new hit song with doggie accompaniment! Could be his next hit. Heck, no one else is doing.

@georgiedean13: No one is meant to have a PERFECT personality with a PERFECT face and a PERFECT voice, but somehow, Adam Lambert is on this earth. What a time to be alive. I don’t think most people realise how lucky we are to be on this incredible journey with him 🌎❤️ #ADAMLAMBERT They forgot PERFECT body. Perfectly said! I sometimes think about how lucky I am to have Adam in my life. I only really watched Idol for two years. It could have been any two years of the show, but no. It was S7 and S8. And Adam grabbed hold of my heart and soul and never let go.

I'm pretty sure I read that the film was the story of Queen from their inception through to Live Aid. But on reflection, I think that Freddie's story will make for a more interesting film for the mass market.
