@queenextrava: .@queenextrava announce North American Tour for September & October! The only Official Tribute is back! More details at www.queenextravaganza.com According to this article, Queen Extravaganza will be touring North American most of September and October, including during the time that QAL is in Las Vegas. Tyler Warren is listed as a drummer for the Queen Extravaganza tour, which means he will not be playing percussion for QAL in Las Vegas. I wonder if Rufus will be joining QAL for Las Vegas? Hm, I just checked The Darkness web site and they are on tour June 2 - Sep 1, ending in the UK. So Rufus would not be available to join QAL for at least the 1st two Las Vegas shows. The Queen Extravaganza tour starts June 6th in Sacramento, CA. So Tyler could play the first 2 Las Vegas shows and then Rufus could play the rest. It will be interesting when the both QAL and QE are in Vegas at the same time. There will be the expected comparisons, I assume. Some may be prefer the QE version where the Freddie persona himself is actually re-created. Others will likely prefer QAL with Brian and Roger, and Adam's own personal incarnation of Queen's incredible music. Each version has great music to offer.

Googling found me this fun video by a company called Blacktrax. I don't know if it's the same equipment they use for QAL. blacktrax.cast-soft.com/tracking_lighting/

Newly uploaded video of TSMGO from Cologne!
They don't show Adam very often but in my opinion the sound is the best of all the TSMGO-videos from that concert so far!

twitter.com/thelistmagazine/status/1008711171271282688The List @thelistmagazine Got your @trnsmtfest tickets yet? Here's why we'd recommend seeing the legends that are @queenwillrock + @adamlambert ow.ly/YSHI30kuUlu Rock icons headline their first ever Scottish festival at this year's TRNSMT Most of the headline acts at TRNSMT have played its T in the Park predecessor in some form or another. But there's one outfit that stands out in all its pomp rock majesty: Queen + Adam Lambert are playing their first ever Scottish festival date. Here are a handful of reasons they will rock you . . 1. The Hits It's no wonder Queen's first greatest hits collection is the highest selling album in the UK. Not just hits but solid-gold rock classics such as 'Don't Stop Me Now', 'We Are the Champions', 'Another One Bites the Dust', 'Killer Queen', 'Somebody to Love', 'Radio Ga Ga', the list goes on and on, and we haven't even mentioned … 2 … 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Six minutes of extravagant operetta meets prog rock perfection. It topped the charts for nine weeks when it was first released in 1976 before returning to number one for another five weeks in 1991 after the death of Freddie Mercury. 3. Brian May As a founding member of Queen, May has written some of the world's most memorable solos. It's a proper hairs on the back of your neck moment when he strides out on stage, guitar in hand. Not forgetting original drummer Roger Taylor keeping the flame alive. 4. Adam Lambert While we'd never ever suggest that Lambert is a better frontman than Mercury (one of the all-time greats) he's an exciting, flamboyant performer with an astonishing vocal range. 5. Scots rock Queen's supporting lineup features a strong showing of homegrown talent, namely Texas, The Temperance Movement, Gun, The Xcerts, Hunter & The Bear, Mason Hill and The Amorettes. And we can also make a quarter claim for The Darkness, given that bass player Frankie Poullain is an Edinburgher.
