There is something about Adam's voice on this tour that sounds richer and more vibrant than ever. I didn't think it was possible, but it's true. He's got the best male voice in the business. Period. I agree!!!! His voice is maturing! At least that's what I think but I'm no expert! He is so in tune with the music now I feel he can relax a bit and just sing these wonderful songs! I agree that his voice is getting stronger and stronger. I attribute it to several things. 1. Age. The male voice continues to mature until about age 35-36. Physiologically, it is at its peak, in theory.\] 2. Experience with the genres he is singing. His original background was in classical and musical theater singing. The approach for pop and rock is different. He is now totally familiar and comfortable with the Queen repertoire and style. 3. The technological advances of the sound equipment. Adam's voice can be a challenge for a sound tech. It has so many harmonics to it, that mics have not been designed to amplify it accurately and in balance. Adam also uses different tonal qualities for different songs and even different verses of the same song. It is what gives his renditions such emotional resonance, but it is hard to balance the mic settings for the different "settings" Adam creates with his voice. But, Queen uses the very best in sound equipment, the most advanced. I noticed that it was not just Adam's voice that was improved, but the sound of the entire band. 4. The recording equipment has greatly improved. Who could have imagined such picture and sound from a cell phone just five years ago? 5. The broadcasting/streaming formats have greatly improved, rendering a more accurate and rich range of frequencies. I was listening to the most recent concert while doing chores around the house yesterday. At one point I just stopped and shook my head. That voice, even from the speakers in the next room, was so pure, rich and resonant. Remarkable!

I went to 2 Pink concerts this spring and the sound quality from the speakers was really not anywhere near as good as the sound quality at the QAL shows. Way too much distortion from the speakers.

I Think of Jeff Buckly, Freddie Mercury, Geoff Tate, Steve Perry, Steven Tyler, Robert Plant, Brendon Urie, Michael Hutchence, Chris Cornel, Axl Rose, Michael Jackson etc. I really think Adam belongs in the history of male vocalists. I agree I Think I Read somewhere Male voices mature in mid 30's to 40's. So I guess his voice is maturing like a fine wine. I have watched some of the tour. And I have noticed not only more richness and tone in his voice. But also his overall showmanship has improoved too. Seems alot more confident. Experience of course.
