Audio Game - Day 4 Song: Somebody To Love
As I mentioned last Fri/Sat, we have 2 HQ recordings for the 2018 London O2 shows. Each recording has different characteristics. We made a mix of the 2 recordings which we hope is better than each of the 2 recordings individually. To evaluate the success of the mix, we would like to play a little game.
Each day I will post links to 3 audio files for the same song, one from each of the 2 recordings and one from the mixed recording. I'm not going to tell you which is which - they will be marked "A", "B", & "C" and it will change daily. I'm also not going to tell you which O2 concert the files are from.
What I want from you all is to give me feed back on what you think of each recording. My feelings will not be hurt by any negative feedback on the audio. We are looking for honest feedback so that we can make the processed recordings better.
I've uploaded the files in 3 formats: M4A, MP3 & FLAC. (FLAC is the best quality!) Choose which one you like. Each link will take you to that 1 song on Mega with a very prominent download button. For the M4A files only, you can also play the song directly on the Mega page!(Direct play might not work on Macs.)
Please give the following feedback in the thread:
1) Which version do you like best & 2nd best? And why? 2) Which format did you listen to, FLAC, M4A, or MP3? 3) Did you listen on a PC or on a Smartphone? 4) Did you listen using speakers, headphones or earbuds? If speakers, was it the speaker on the PC or a better speaker?
If you want to guess which recording is mine, Nick's, or the mix, please send that to me in a PM. I'd like to get everyone's reaction to the recordings before saying which recording is which.
P.S. This is the 4th out of 8 songs in the game. At the end of the game, I will give a full review of the feedback, including which recordings A, B, & C refer to.

Listened to MP4 on PC with Bose external speakers.
Definite preference for B. Adam's voice sounds so up front and close to me. Like I could reach out and touch him. A probably has a better balance of instruments and voice, but, I LIKE Adam's voice being predominant.
Words make you think a thought. Music makes you feel a feeling. A song makes you feel a thought.
Not sure what's what here....or which version is best, Queencam vs multicam, etc. These are prob really big files.....haven't looked. If anybody DLs any of these.....let us know what's best.

1) B -Vocals front. In all I prefer to hear Adam's voice in these recordings because I've already seen all the concert videos (some of which have great sound) with all the instruments. In fan videos we can't get Adam's voice like its recorded for tv. One of the reasons I love that Rock in Rio TV recording cause the way Adam's voice sounds up close too. As it does in these samples we get to listen to. A- like second best, cause one can hear instruments more. C- is too far away and too much echo. 2) M4A 3) On a PC 4) Headphones - top quality ones.

“Equality & freedom are not luxuries to lightly cast aside.Without them, order cannot long endure before approaching depths beyond imagining.”-A.M.
I listened on my iPad and a newish PC desktop. No special speakers or earbuds.
M4A - Play and/or Download Somebody To Love - A. #2. Sounds a bit more like in an arena/ echo chamber, and a bit ...but just a bit, more "tinny" than C. Somebody To Love - B. #1. Clarity of the voices....Adam and back-up vocals were amazing. I could even distinguish who was singing in parts of the backing vocals. There was not as much audience audio until the end. Somebody To Love - C. #3. Sounds as if off in the distance.
