No being American isn't required. The WHO, U2 and Rolling Stones have all done it and none of them are American.And Coldplay did it the year before Timberlake. They were pretty boring and it seemed a non-event but they did it. Oh! That's right. Of course, there were those big Brit acts. I forgot. Duh. Well then, being American isn't a prerequisite. I just keep visualizing QAL up there rocking the shit out of the place and the audience really getting into the best rock arena anthems ever written. And not caring where the band is from. Just knowing that they are fantastic and having a blast. Guess we'll never know. The window of time for QAL to be chosen is narrowing each year. Maybe someone at the SB will wake up and see the opportunity before it's too late.
