Thanks for the reality check. What gets me really excited at the moment is the prospect that Adam's new, more current music will likely be influenced by the experiences and knowledge gained through his collaboration with Queen. Win/win. Oh yes, this gets me very excited too... I really hope for new music from Adam that will let him truly shine. Not holding back like on the "Original High" and not trying to adjust to the liking of the masses like he did with "Trespassing". Just 100% pure Adam in all his glory, sexiness and power and not afraid to let his extraordinary self shine.
I can't wait for his new music

I have found some interesting numbers about Queen. These numbers are fairly new and are said to include sales, digital sales and streams. I can’t say, if that’s entirely correct. But these numbers show, how successful Queen in some parts of the world really is/was. It might help to put the Super Bowl discussion into perspective. Because Queen has been more successful in many many other countries. It was posted in ukmix.org by Slightlymad! Queen has definitely been a global phenomenon for decades. Much more so than in the US. I view this list of sales totals and I am blown away by Queen's position. Surely Brian and Roger are doing what they do now as QAL for the sheer love and joy of it. Not for the money. They are reaping the benefits of a lifetime of hard and dedication.

I can't wait for his new music I can't wait either! And I do hope we fear some Queen influence in the A4 music. He has certainly proven that their music suits him, style-wise. But I also think, based on what he has said, that he will have some important things to say in his new music, also. So, we should expect some depth, I hope, along with the diva. LOL

She is correct. But I guess it is a matter of perspective. I remember when she and Adam were both with RCA and released new singles from new albums. They sent a song to radio for her and she had 100+ adds first week. They sent a single for Adam about a week later and he had about 25 adds the first week. She went on the have massive play and a #1 single and he did not do so well. When the press is always talking to Adam about how hard it is for LGBT artists, I keep waiting for someone to mention the tepid radio play but they never even bring it up. But big radio play or not, Kelly gets a lot of opportunities in the US and she is taking good advantage of them. So good for her. I'm sure she and Carrie will do well at the Iheart festival. Carrie just got her star in Hollywood so they are both doing great. I'm sick of the whole damn thing. Adam has made his own opportunities because of his talent and thankfully Queen recognized it. The American system of getting radio play is almost criminal with a few running everything. How the hell can you have a hit without radio play, you can't!!!!!! So the powers that be have played around with Adams success. Why can't they just play a new release and give it a chance to be heard and I mean for every artist. It's total BS!!! Thank god for streaming! Though still not good enough! I agree. And the excuses that Adam needs to write that perfect hit or he does not fit is silly, imo. US radio will play who they want when they want. Rock, EDM, as well as pop artists have gone to number 1 top 40 and many top 10 hits on US radio because the song is played all the time. Ed, Taylor, Sam, Portugal the Man, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Robin Thicke, Kelly, Maroon 5, Mendes, Selena, Ariana, Demi, John Legend, etc. Those artists are not all alike and their songs are not all great masterpieces. What they have in common is the songs were played a lot. Adam is not making music so out there and so out of the norm (I think he has tried too hard to fit in) that he should not be heard and played on a greater level.
