This was last week on Jimmy Fallon. Still wondering where Adam met her today.

Man, I wish that whole body-positive thing would work with my doctor...every time I see her, she reminds me I need to lose 40 lbs. I have never managed to look in the mirror and feel utter, unconditional love for my body.

An award ceremony totally new to me, but apparently in existence for many years - AARP awards! (For non US members: American Association of Retired Persons, Founded in 1958 by retired educator Dr. Ethel Percy Andrus as the American Association of Retired Persons, AARP is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association with a membership of over 40 million.Mar 31, 2018) 2018 Movies for Grownups Award Winners www.aarp.org/entertainment/movies-for-grownups/annual-film-awards/www.aarp.org/entertainment/movies-for-grownups/info-2019/aarp-awards-winners.htmlBest Ensemble: Bohemian RhapsodyThough Rami Malek gets much of the glory as Queen's front man Freddie Mercury, the strength of the whole cast is what made this $818 million hit the most popular biopic in history. Standouts include grownups Tom Hollander, 51, and Aidan Gillen, 50, as Queen's managers, and Mike Myers, 55, as a record exec trying to forbid them from releasing the bizarrely operatic single "Bohemian Rhapsody." The band defies him — as Myers did when he defied producers who demanded a Guns N' Roses song for 1992's Wayne's World. Myers insisted on "Bohemian Rhapsody," sparking the Queen revival that apparently won't ever bite the dust. Watch the 18th annual AARP Movies for Grownups Awards show Feb. 15 on PBS' Great Performances series at 9 p.m. ET (check your local listings), pbs.org/gperf and PBS apps.

I have never managed to look in the mirror and feel utter, unconditional love for my body. The next time you see your doctor tell her that her previous 40 lb admonitions did not work and neither will the current one. That in reality, the only thing she is accomplishing is making you dread going to the doctor and that she should be more concerned you will avoid consulting her for something serious. Then as Lizzo says in 'Good as Hell', "... walk your fine ass out the door" But remember to go back for something serious

The vocals in this performance are simply beyond belief. So pure and rich and smooth. Outlaws of Love is a true anthem. I wish he had a chance to sing it more. This performance; this opening . . . I was there; how could I have been so lucky? I was also in line in St. Agathe, on my birthday, with Q3 and many 'old timers' in 2010, when we heard Adam sound check something we'd never heard. Later, that evening, just before the heavens exploded tears of wonder and joy, we watched a broken heart and god given voice gently present us the gift of 'Outlaws of Love'.

Ok, not sure why I can't quote Linda's post, but I really don't think I want to ignore my doctor's advice to lose weight when it's because my blood pressure is inching up and so is my cholesterol. Family medical history dictates that I listen to her.
She's not just suggesting 40 lbs so I look better.
If you're that kind of weight and are in perfect health, awesome !!
If you're that kind of weight and are fighting diabetes, cholesterol and blood pressure issues, you might want to think about losing some of it.

I was thrilled to just see this on twitter... "Love Kills" performed by Adam is one of those very special gems for me. I wish it made a comeback. As it's Valentine's Day tomorrow, I hope that Adam feels the love. One of many times that Brian has spoken so eloquently about Adam's perfect fit with Queen. I could listen to these words all day. No matter how long QAL keeps performing, Adam will always have a significant niche in the history of rock music with one of its most beloved and respected bands. Not a bad legacy to have. That being said, he'll have many more years without Queen than he has had with them, and I think that fact will make his career all the more interesting.
