What about the other paid streaming services? They should be looking at all the major ones- like Apple Music etc.I personally use Amazon music because it’s the most convenient for our family. I’m not about to pay for Spotify or replace my current option that I love. Spotify and YouTube provide the best geo-reports to artists so are most important, but Apple also matters. There is no rule about how streaming data is used in planning. Different analysts use different data approaches.

Part of my job is social media management and we usually do this to "beef up" the "highlights" section with content. It's usually done to prepare the account for a new audience prior to a promotion, contest and anything else that is expected to bring increased traffic, especially first timers and media. But that's just generally speaking. Who knows what it means, or anything at all, in this case. Makes sense to me.
He has the documentary The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Story, which debuts Monday, April 29th on ABC. Seems like they could release a real single May-ish. But my bet is that they do a big push in June. It aligns with Pride month and leads into the QAL NA tour. In either case, it makes sense for Adam to start doing some social media work now.

Sure wish we would heard SOMETHING about that new single. The whole "timing" thing is critical. Still can't figure out how the whole "SINGLE PRELEASE/QAL TOUR/QAL TOUR ADDED SHOWS/ADAM'S OWN PROMO/ADAM'S SOLO TOUR" will pan out. All I know is that it seems like it's taking forever. Sorry about my impatient venting! It's literally been years -- so seems OK to vent a bit to me.
I think (no knowledge) we have a bit longer to wait and am betting on June.

Has Pride month ever been used to push Adam's music? I can't really remember. How would that work to his benefit? Whatever they do, I hope they get a single out so he can appear on some tv shows before the daytime/nighttime shows go to re-runs. Can't remember when that time is either, lol.

IIRC, "Two Fux" was meant, at least partly, as a Pride anthem and released in June.

He sang it on the Queen tour (some did not think it was a good fit) and that was it. But other than that, I didn't see a tie in to anything about it being for Pride. The words spoke to that but there was no promotion for that song for Pride or anything else really? I hope the new single gets more of a push than that song got.
