Sent you the Queen code....just checked at ALF and they have nothing about it up in the news or events page and nothing in the dashboard yet. They usually do that right at the last minute. When we find out the times here, maybe we can check out ALF about an hour beforehand.

NZ Stadiums have no problem filling that capacity. Westpac has had concerts their for decades. So they have the expeierence to fill a band as big as Queen and Adam Lambert. I Am going to the Welly show. Which is only a 3 hour drive from where I live in Wanganui.

Good to hear that you feel the stadiums will fill nicely.

Interesting that they are doing AAMI in Melbourne - is one of the smallest stadiums, so the others must have been booked. Capacity is only 10k more than the arena they usually play. We have the biggest stadium in Australia with MCG (capacity 110k) but also Marvel stadium that has capacity of about 40k for concerts. Almost guarantee there will be a second Melbourne show...

I had a pretty awesome experience today. I am at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) expo in Las Vegas this week. I was working at our booth when I suddenly heard STOMP-STOMP-CLAP! STOMP-STOMP-CLAP! from somewhere in the expo hall. Like a moth to the flame I followed the sound to find out where it was coming from. I ended up in front of the AVID booth, where John Ottman was showing and discussing the editing process of several scenes from the Bohemian Rhapsody movie! In addition to the WWRY edit, we also watched an early edit of the barn scene (no visual effects whatsoever, for example Freddie on the piano singing "sometimes wish I'd never been born at all" still had a greenscreen with markers behind the windows). Even the guitar solo was the original one, before Brian re-recorded it. John explained that this sequence was his favorite, "his baby", and he was very protective of it because it contained a lot of ad lib improvisations by the actors. You can hear that part of the story re-told in this behind the scenes video after the presentation: youtu.be/0erreOCqXmA?t=519What I found even more fascinating was that the media bin on the screen had at least 3 cut scenes from the early version of the movie featuring young Freddie. I don't think he planned to show any of them, he was just teasing those who were paying attention. Their titles were quite revealing (I took a picture on my cell phone of the AVID Media Composer user interface). I hope they will see the light of day someday in a special edition BluRay or something... Sc21-22: Zanzibar - Farrokh puts on make-up & Bomi drags him out of the living room Sc23: a nun leads Farrokh away Sc52: Freddie's flashback "Bismillah"

Yes I'm expecting a 2nd show in Melbourne as well. It fits if you look at the dates.
