Wow, that's awesome ! Good luck on the planning.
Thanks! It's exciting and scary at the same time. And I have no idea how to approach ticket buying, never been to a stadium concert.
Just sent you a DM!

Disagreeing with Patti on this one. I would love to go to a stadium show. I am not a person that feels the need to be up close, actually I find it a little uncomfortable . But I can’t imagine the amount of energy that a stomping stadium would provide with this music, literally and figuratively. I’d like to just sit back and take it in. And see the huge production on a grand scale. Of course I hope for good weather. I’d want to be on the sides and not the floor though. No way you’d chance that in FL in the summer! I don't like to be too close either. Makes me uncomfortable too. Glad I'm not the only one. LOL. I‘m sure, a stadium show can be great. My experience in Cologne 2016 wasn‘t really. And the thunderstorm with pouring rain, that flooded the city for 4 hours was not my problem, because I had a seat under the roof. No. It was in the beginning the sound, that got better in my seat after a few songs. I know others in the upper sections had very bad sound for the whole concert. In Berlin the sound at concerts is famously bad. It’s actually better when you’re about 1 kilometer away from the stadium. Then you have great sound. In the Arena it’s a Hit and miss. Guns‘n Roses was so bad last year, that many fans left early and it made the news the next day. Stadiums are tricky, with open roofs, gaps in them ect. Anothe minus for me is that you can see the band mostly just on the screens. And the worst was, that I couldn’t see Roger and the Q-screen in the depth of the stage. Both were set back and the veils on the side of the stage made it impossible for 1/3 of the audience in the stadium to see the Q-screen. That meant, that for instance Freddie’s appearance during „Love of my Life“ happened only acoustacally for us. (He wasn’t shown on the smalle side screens.) People, who hadn‘t seen the show before were wondering and unsure, why the rest oft the stadium was enthusiastically applauding... The same with Brian‘s solo. 15 minutes of watching black and white side screens . Brian himself was hidden in the depth of the stage. And the lasers only work when it’s already dark... yes, I prefer arenas over any stadium. A one off Show in Wembley would be great though... 😁

I think this is a real possibility for the final performance of The Rhapsody Tour. There were some rumors about that for 2018 already and I think it could be possible. In the video from Australia they also mentioned that this very well could be the last show Queen does in Australia. I guess it's almost time for a farewell tour. Brian and Roger are not getting younger. I'm pretty sure 2020 is going to be very busy for Adam. Paul Danity did say that but imo that was a not so well veiled attempt to create the maximum demand for tickets. Nothing more than that IMO. So I wouldn’t start talking of a “farewell” anything yet... at least not as planned farewell.

Excellent speech on LGBT progress : Buttigieg speaks at LGBTQ Victory Fund Champagne Brunch in Washington, D.C. Their mission: LGBTQ Victory Fund works to change the face and voice of America’s politics and achieve equality for LGBTQ Americans by increasing the number of openly LGBTQ officials at all levels of government. youtu.be/fAkBncctUI0Impressive guy - intelligent, well spoken, charismatic, honest. I only recently learned about him when Trevor Noah talked about him at the Daily Show. It feels really good to see a bright light like Mayor Pete in our political landscape. There's hope, and I think it is about time for "equality for all" on a federal level.

I have been up front but I still looked at the screen a lot when there were uncomfortable angles. I prefer being relatively close and slightly raised versus neck straining close, even though the thought of seeing Adam's facial expressions and drops of sweat from only a few yards away is an enticing one.

It always feels a little uncomfortable when the prediction of the end starts to take flight. Of course that has been the prediction almost from the beginning, lol.

I'll take neck straining close with all the sweat and facial expressions every time...lol. If I'm at the main stage I do look some at the above screen if Adam is performing at the end of the thrust...so I can see the sweat and facial expressions :D

2020 will mark 50 years of Queen. I bet on a gig in Wembley!
Stadium of course.
