Watched about 3/4 of the Docu. Remarkable Docu, really one of the best music Docus I have seen since Queen Days of our lifes. IT is really insightful, and full of depth. Remarkable too. The Rise and Fall of Queen, coincided with the Rise of Adam. How they were talking about at the 1992 Freddie Tribute show, how all these legends can not compare to Freddie. IT is hard to find someone with that magnetic charisma, but also the voice. So that one person ticks all the boxes. And that is Adam. I Think we as fans might take it for granted. But this docu has really cemented it for me. I also think IHR was such an important thing. Like Brian said, it changed everything for them in America. US Promoters now took then seriousley as a Current Act. Not a Herald Act. And Lyndsey was right, when she was like the irony of critics writing off Queen 30 odd years ago. Yet here they are in 2018 making Rock n Roll cool again for the kids. I have never taken Adam and how the stars aligned for him and Queen for granted, in fact I still wonder once in a while if this is "real life or fantasy", but you are so right in seeing the documentary as the final and official stamp of approval.
Lyndsey's presence was awesome!! Another full circle for sure.

Since I'm new, I'm not really familiar with Lyndsey. What's her significance in the story of Adam?

I can't wait to see what they have planned for the release of Adam's single. If they let these two wonderful days pass without one, they must have something grand in the works. I loved the documentary but the AMA part brought tears to my eyes. It was such a hard time of fearing for his career. That time was a reminder of all the awful "madam" slurs that were hurled at him and non-fans or fans of others just wanting him to fail. But that part did not last too long and I was back to grinning and watching the Queen front man strut his stuff. I hope a lot of people who dismissed him got the chance to see how far he has come, if they did not already know. Adam is a class act and deserves all the respect and success that has come him way. And the love that Brian and Roger have for him is overwhelming. This was one of the best documentaries that I have seen. So well put together. And if they wanted a Jonas brother in the the doc. I'm glad it was Joe. He looked absolutely thrilled that time he met Adam. I had not thought about it prior to the show, but when the AMAs came up it made me very nervous. A sign that I wasn't over it yet. I am good now for some reason. Ten years later ABC showed the kiss without blurring it out and Adam redeemed himself through the documentary. Closure. For me, at least.

I doubt that showing the documentary had anything to do with Queen and Adam agreeing to open the Oscars. Playing the Oscars alone would be a big deal. Who would try to hold a network hostage to play that gig? They probably had to work out some kinks to make the performance a go. But I think the documentary fell into the networks plan to take advantage of all the talk of Queen and Queen with Adam. The ABC stuff seemed to be added into an already done documentary. Of course we will probably never know how it all happened, so I'm just glad that it did.

Lyndsey's presence was awesome!! Another full circle for sure. The stars are always aligning for Adam.....so many opportunities and full circles. It's what you'd expect for a " Gift From God"
