I've watched the video enough that now I'm looking at details in the background. I have to say that I love that afghan in the painter's studio. I was a teen in the 70's and my neighbour was a knitter. I think everyone in our cul-de-sac ended up with multiple afghans just like the one in the video. LOL
Come to think about it -- I think it was crochet!

I do not always like Adam's music -- and sometimes the tracks I come to love are not a favorites for me on the first listen -- for example, "Runnin'" crept up on me. I can't even listen to NCOE or BTIKM -- both were not worthy of Adam IMO. NE was love at first listen for me. I love all the layers of vocals and vocals used as instruments and real instruments and that blue baseline. I think that part of this may be what other music I listen to and know. NEs is not a pop or pop rock track so for people who listen to HAC-type music (not me), it is really different. For people who listen to indie rock, blues rock, post-puck, neo-psychedelic rock, and alt, and vintage music (me), this fits right in without being a clone. I am so happy to read comments comparing this track to Black Keys and Arctic Monkeys. I also have noticed a lot of comments on the video from people who look like they are men. All good signs that Adam is in the right place.Good take! I do listen to HAC more than Pop stations but I also like and listen to those that you highlighted. I really love NE now and I feel bad that I let the video throw me off. But if Adam gets radio play, do you think there is a chance that he can get on the alt stations as well as CHR/HAC? I would really love to see that because his music fits.

From the same person I posted yesterday who had such a negative reaction to the video: glambertparty: Thanks for all in insightful interpretations you all have shared with me. Going to take a few days break then relook at everything with “new eyes”. It was real nice to have had great convos with some of you sharing our different points of view with no judgment. Love you all

Also loved the video on first view. For me it’s one of Adam’s best songs. Guess our various backgrounds have a lot to do with how we react - my favorite music is rock and I came of age in the 60’s, maybe that’s part of why the song & video resonate so strongly for me.

Might the upcoming Australia promo be for the upcoming QAL concerts? Or maybe he gets to do some dual purpose promo?

Love you all I'm glad the person is taking some time to reflect. Many of us have been fans for ten years and it has been a bit of a roller coaster, but we're still on this crazy ride together! The Glamberts feels like family and it feels sad to lose a member.
