Adam has a huge list of accomplishments for the last 10 years, IMO, including being lead singer for one of the world's most famous rock bands. Does he want more? Is he happy? Is he fulfilled? I have no idea, as I don't know him. But he's 37, has learned a lot (according to some of his interviews), and I'm sure he's ambitious enough to go after what he wants (not necessarily what his fans want). I don't worry about him because I know he's incredibly smart, and ridiculously talented. I'm just standing on the sidelines cheering him on, and being grateful every day that I get to share a teeny tiny slice of life with him.

I am hoping that at at least one Halloween party next fall Adam will dress head to toe exactly like his character - wouldn’t that be fun?

I also don't post much for the same reasons as the poster above but I decided to put in an what I think is a more or less accurate timeline which addresses the ongoing discussion of the role QAL might have had wrt Adam's solo career.
The first shows with Queen came after Trespassing was released in 2012 and though it hit #1, it was quickly apparent that the singles did not connect. This was clearly devastating for Adam as he later confirms, and QAL could not have come at a better time. It took a year for them to re-connect in Las Vegas and in that year Adam did some touring in Asia etc. but under what auspices could he have quickly come out with more music? His was in a bind creatively because of the whole RCA cover album demand. That was also the time his relationship with Sauli ended. He knew he had to switch labels and again, a QAL tour 2014 materialized out of the fall 2013 iHeart smash success - it could not have come at a better time. I believe he got the Warner offer as soon as he parted with RCA but with all the legal hocus pocus, he wasn't in a position to seriously work on new music. No way he could release a new album immediately. JMHO QAL did not stand in the way - the timeline was what it was because of how his solo career went.
TOH released in 2015. Doesn't seem QAL interfered with that but that either. If anything, the problem in the US was the Demi Lovato arena tour debacle where Adam had to quickly reconstitute his venues. He did that TOHT tour along with QAL - both all over the world However, again, when the 2nd song did not connect, the solo career seemed to stall and as we now know, Adam was struggling with TPTB at Warner over his artistic identity. It took a long time to sort that one out - all the way until now in terms of a release of new music and in the meantime there was always QAL. Did that collaboration make that time longer than necessary? I have no idea but what seems clear is it contributed hugely to his ability to follow his musical heart and take the time to carve his own way - both from a financial and "familial support" point of view.
I know and respect that others have strong feelings about QAL versus Adam's career. I am in the camp of it was a jinormous blessing. He was/is the rarest talent with or without Queen, but how many would have known about him? Could he have come back and done a fourth album with this kind of visiability given how things went? No way to answer that but I think looking at those years after his Glamnation tour through now, with respect for everyone else's opinions, I don't see QAL as an impediment.

I don't get why wishing for more for Adam has somehow become a negative. I think we all know and are happy with his accomplishments. And we are happy that he is enjoying a great relationship and love in his personal life. But why is there a need to stop others for expressing the joy of what he has but still expressing a wish? We have no control over what he gets nor can we say for sure what HE does or does not want. I think QAL has been great for him. I think his solo career and other project are really good too. He seems very happy and content with the way things are progressing. I want him on the radio more and I want him to get recognition for one of his beautiful ballads. I will voice that every now and then so sue me or scroll, lol. I'm not worried about his career, tho, as I think it has been great. Looking forward to more with Velvet. A lot to celebrate but we are not always going to agree and sometimes we will express our hopes or fears. They are not demands and we understand that we have no control over what happens in Adam's career, other than giving him as much love and support as we can.

I said something yesterday about some fans dropping off because they weren't that interested in QAL, and I think it was misconstrued here that me or someone was saying that somehow QAL interfered with Adam's solo career, that was NEVER what I meant. There were some younger fans who I noticed stopped commenting and posting about Adam,I was only referencing when I experienced some drifting away. Sometimes it seems that one little comment here gets magnified way out of proportion.
ETA: I am SO THANKFUL for QAL, because that is how I get to hear Adam sing live. I've been to at least 20 QAL shows. Adam hasn't toured in Northern California since Glam Nation (for TOH I had to fly to Southern CA) so yes to QAL.
But will QAL still be touring in 10 years?? What I want for Adam is to be able to tour with as big a production as he would like with his own music. And I want hit songs on the radio for him. I hope it's ok to express those wishes here. I'm very happy for all of his success thus far, and with QAL.

I'm changing the subject here, but I am curious if Rocketman is rated R in the States. The press has made such a big deal about this sex scene making this movie more "honest" that BR. It is rated PG here. bamafan and didilynn What is it rated where you are?
