I watched the beginning on my TV and they went to commercial break during one of the songs, so watched the rest on my computer. Did they just leave it off their broadcast? I think it was RGG, but I can't remember now. They did Radio Ga Ga.

Is there a reason why Brian wears that mask for BR. Is it something they did back in the day or maybe he just wants to wear it?

Did people applaud much after WWTLF? I thought this was the perfect opportunity for Adam's brilliant performance of WWTLF to be recognized because Brian didn't do his guitar solo, but I don't recall hearing much applause.. I had the same thought but the audience seemed fairly quiet. Then I realized they were having an out-of-body experience and were unable to move. Seriously - his voice, that song - people are transported. The TV audio mix doesn't serve audience justice. Check out the iHeart radio broadcast.. audience is much louder on that mix

I haven’t been on this board for ages, and I can’t even remember how to paste quotes, but re. the discussion about the underwhelming response to WWTLF. I was texting my fellow fan sister and I was looking on this board about whether Adam would sing the song and that he had sung it during sound check. I love the song and it sends me. But I texted my sister that I wasn’t sure if I wanted him to perform it. I saw Queen + AL many times, starting in London Hammersmith at the beginning of the beginning, but while I was rapt and spellbound after WWTLF, whether in Nashville or Philly or MSG or wherever, I found the reception surprisingly tepid. I think it’s because it’s an unfamiliar song and contemplative. I would like to think people are too stunned by the master class vocals to respond, but I think they just aren’t that into it. It’s sung in a more operatic style and it’s not something ppl can cheer and sing along too. These are casual fans, not ppl following Adam’s journey for 10 years like I (and many ppl on this board) have.
That said, it is probably my favorite moment of every concert I’ve attended, and I was glad he sang it tonight. I remember a sound check a long time ago that was recorded outside a venue in Eastern Europe and it was so mesmerizing and ethereal, it almost seemed like he could levitate the building with his voice.
