I listen to Adam when I've had enough stress for the day, especially since I live in a state that doesn't even legalize hemp or CBD oil (stores sell it anyway lol). I like that Spotify will stream well on my web browser - trying to play the desk top app justs bogs the computer down. So my headphones are always plugged in, I"m always at my computer and when I need a break I pop the headphones on and close my eyes.
Adam is also one of the reasons I have an extra screen hooked into my computer. How else could I get anything done when he has interviews or we are streaming a concert, or I need to watch a certain video again and again?
Yep, he's my rock.

It is really nice to see this positive thread. Adam has a lot of accomplishments and successes to be proud of. Will there be bumps in the road? Sure. That happens for most artists. But he is a joy. A special person and artist. I can't think of anyone else that I would follow to this degree.
My sister from out of state is in town and she is not a follower of Adam. So I had to be strategic with what I showed her. As I prepared my ambush, I knew she would not want to look at everything that I would. First I pulled up his performance of Blue Suede Shoes, on my tv screen, to break the ice. She said, he would make a great Elvis, lol. I had talked her into tuning in for Believe when he performed it, so no need to show that (and she thought he was wonderful btw). No need to show her the Oscar performance because I had called and talked her into watching that when it was on. I decided not to pull up the SP video with the dancers. I like it and stream it constantly but I just sorta know that would not impress her. So I went with Closer to You video. She was in awe. She said his voice is so pure and emotions so raw. Then I showed her a few QAL videos from youtube. He was so gorgeous on the big screen tv and she commented on that too. She thought he rivaled the rock stars of the past and would have fit right in. I decided to quit while I was ahead and not push it. HA. But I was feeling really good.

I used to post frequently on this board under a different name. I still love Adam and follow him every day. Went to QAL this summer. Love Superpower! I recently showed Superpower to my boss who had never heard of Adam and now she loves him. She printed out a picture of him for her bulletin board and asks me about him daily. Just thought I’d share.

Still catching up on threads, but noticed we're having a positivity thread! YAY! I had a really pleasant surprise today while reading Saturday's local newspaper. Flipping through the Arts section and there was The Associated Press article about Adam with a nice colour picture of him. Looking good in his red palm trees shirt! Top of the page headline is "Being gay in music less taboo: Lambert."
Funny thing was that I turned the page again and there was another Lambert article -- Miranda Lambert this time!

I love these stories about new people getting on the Adam train -- especially four year olds! LOL

Does anyone but me get a Time for Miracles vibe from Closer to you? Especially the Baby, Baby section. To me it captures that same desperation, plaintive pain. Me,too.
