Yes - the word is out. Received notice that Adam will not be performing tonight as we were boarding the shuttle from a winery back to the hotel - to get ready for the Uptown Theatre show. I can only imagine how he must feel - battling illness instead of celebrating and promoting the Velvet album; his personal journey of the past three years. It's a gorgeous evening in the Napa Valley and we'll find a way to enjoy it; and hope that Adam will soon be well again. The opportunity to see Adam brings me joy; at times like this I see how vulnerable his bigger-than-life presence can be. Whatever it takes - he is precious to me and I will support his return to good health in any way I can. I am so sad for you Lynda! Sad for Adam too of course. But I know how much this meant to you also, and with all you've dealt with recently, was really excited about this for you. I will try not to worry about Adam and send positive healing love his way. Hope you guys will have a good time in spite of this, xoxo.

Adam's "tummy ache" with a sad winky face yesterday made me think all sorts of things to be honest. I wish him well.

No, the payout are the spins of Superpower these stations gave for him performing at this concert. Now who knows Looking at the stations spinning him posted in the Numbers thread, none of them are in Northern California so that's probably not a problem This event was nationwide, many radio stations participated by allowing listeners to win a trip to Napa. There was only 1 Northern CA station that participated, and they had limited opportunity to win (I tried and didn't) - I'm not sure what the ramifications will be for spins though.

I had a feeling he would cancel this from this morning, not sure where the feeling came from, maybe from his "tummy ache" response. Still disappointed for the fans who managed to get there, and also sad for those who will miss out discovering (or re-discovering) Adam though this event.............

Well, there are many good performers and at least there will be excellent wine

ETA: someone has pointed out to me that none of the sponsoring radio stations for LITV have played Superpower, who knows if they would have after the event or not....guess here is no loss of spins anyway

Adam's "tummy ache" with a sad winky face yesterday made me think all sorts of things to be honest. I wish him well. I kinda wondered what the winky face meant...understood the sad smiley, but wondered about the wink. Thought maybe he was hinting at what we call "a torn up stomach"(diarrhea) Just hope he's seen a Doctor and maybe taking some meds.
