First of all, I'm sorry for your cold/flu and am glad you are feeling better! I've had the flu and it really wiped me out as well. I probably shouldn't have posted this one either, as I do still sound a little nuts. A month is a long time, but I wasn't thinking of anything too awful, maybe something like mononucleosis. I probably should shut up now. I doubt whatever he has now is the same as whatever he had before. It's more likely that with all the travel and exposure to multiple people he picked up something else. If he has been pushing himself then his immune system will be depressed making him more vulnerable to viruses he is exposed to. Actually, that sounds totally reasonable.

Ok, the main thing is he gets better for the TV promo. This one was not going to be streamed or recorded, so the only “pay out” in terms of promo was a few articles re the event. And Adam will be mentioned anyway... ..it is smart to rest and recover fully... No, the payout are the spins of Superpower these stations gave for him performing at this concert. Now who knows Oh, I see. Do you think they’ll stop spinning now?

For what it’s worth, I’ve had a stomach bug, off and on, for a few weeks now. I know of others in the LA area who are also suffering from this. I’ve been laying low, staying at home. Adam’s been doing the opposite.
Momtomany, thank you for checking in. You are a dear.

I'm starting to worry about the shows in next month. I have tickets to one of the shows. Same. I have tickets and M&G for Cities Gives Back next week. Wow, that's Friday. Good Luck.

I had a couple things a while back that took about 6 weeks to clear up completely. I had to go back to the doctor several times. I have a desk job and I was out of it. I can't imagine trying to perform etc while sick. I think he's overextended himself and needs more of a break. 🤩

Like everyone, I am so sad for the fans and especially for Adam. It must be wrenching for him.
But as yucky as tummy trouble is, I have to honestly say that I am relieved that it is not a vocal issue - larynx, cords, throat, or persistent respiratory infection.

I pray that Adam's current bout of illness will be his last for a long time. Over the past ten years we have rarely seen him sick. He's a naturally healthy person. We've seen him do rigorous months-long tours without missing a show. (He did miss one QAL show out of the hundreds he has done.) But apparently something is "going through his system" and it's stubborn.
Hope he rests and recovers completely with all his energy back, ready for his full plate of promos and performances. with luck he'll be fine for the Cities Give Back on Nov.8 as well as The Talk. Should be back full strength for the December solo shows!
He's kinda spoiled us with how healthy he is in general.
