So, Cassie, is Adam singing in falsetto at the beginning of Overglow Live? Or can he do that with his "regular" (technical term ha) voice? The control and sound is amazing. I remember at the beginning of TOH promo he had a bit of trouble with some of the songs live, and think he ended up singing without falsetto. He has this one nailed, whatever he is doing.

I suspect Javi had to go back and renew his visa. Or get a job from Spanish firm that would let him work in the US. Yeah, I think after staying in the US for a period of time you need to be OUT of the country for another period before you can come back, unless you can get a green card. And you need a sponsor for that. What does the sponsor do? Can't Adam be his sponsor?

Adam needs to sell an album of Velvet Live Sessions once they're all done...I would buy it.
Like Overglow Live, but my jam is still CTY Live...that one got me in all the right places.

But the process to get a green card takes some time, then it can be several years before the person can apply for citizenship. Or I guess they can be a permanent resident alien.

But the process to get a free card takes some time, then it can be several years before the person can apply for citizenship. Or I guess they can be a permanent resident alien. Sponsor is usually a company that hires you and offers you a steady position / income. That's what my US-based employer does for me. The type of visa I have needs to be renewed every year and does not offer a path to a green card. A sponsor CAN be a person BUT it's usually extended to parents, children, step children or siblings. In other words, immediate family. Honestly, saying at your interview you want to live in the country because your girlfriend or boyfriend is a citizen is usually a kiss of death to your visa process IF it's the only reason you apply.

Good question, evergreen. I am wondering the same thing. Sometimes it is hard for me to tell. The studio recording definitely sounds like falsetto to me in the verse. It is very light with a breathiness to it. In the live version the sound is more pure and ringing, without the breathiness. Yet it is still light. I THINK it is a lightly delivered head voice. Something that Adam has used for many years and has great control over. His falsetto, live, has been less controlled. Also, in the live version, on the second verse Adam switches between head voice and full voice: you can hear the difference in the weight or fullness of the sound. I like the live version much better. Just a richer sound. Also, there is definitely a backing vocal track used on the choruses. Sometimes the melody is doubled, and sometimes the backing track sings the melody while Adam live adds some variation.

What about a husband?
