If you like him as a person and like his voice/talent enough that you think he deserves more fame and recognition, how could you not be a fan? To me, Adam is a “singer’s singer” - and, I think, people who “know” talent, know Adam. I love the music he’s making, solo and QAL, and so do so many others.

Sure, go ahead and roll with your Javi fanfic instead. I was actually hoping for your professional reply since if I’m not mistaken you work in pr/sm or management field. Do you think that Adam team does a good job? Seems like I’m the only one who doesn’t believe in everything what is in on sm. nightowl I haven’t decided if I’m his fan or not. I like him as a person for sure but I do not considered myself as a Glambert. I've now moved to tour management so my PR days are behind me. But still have to say they are doing just fine considering they likely don't have millions of dollars to spend on promo.

Well, I sure wouldn't want to be a fan of somebody who I think is lying...but that's just me. One thing I've always appreciated about Adam is his honesty. He's pretty much always been an open book, sometimes to his detriment. And it seems odd that the young, hip and in the know would keep trolling an AL fansite to insult him. Why would they care about Adam's poor career and all the money he has made with that same poor career?

Hmmmm. Not sure what is going on with this discussion, but it does not feel glittery and golden to me. Perhaps we have been joined by a newbie who is still trying to figure out who our beloved Adam really is. Perhaps we are being visited by someone who enjoys stirring up a little hornet's nest. But, the posts seem to be getting close to attack mode or intentionally provocative and argumentative. I think this discussion has gone far enough on the public forum.
dominica, I am one of the forum mods, charged with keeping things positive and friendly. I suspect you have not seen the guidelines for this forum, so let me share them with you and others:
1. You must be an Adam fan.
2. You must be respectful of other members. Feel free to express you opinion, but be glitterier and golden.
3. Strive to be funny, entertaining or informative when you post. Avoid posting something that has already been posted.
4. Never question anyone's right to post, the appropriateness of a topic or define the proper way for an Adam fan or Adamtopia Member to behave. Let the moderators do their job.
dominica, you say you are not sure you are an Adam fan, so this forum is probably not for you. If you are a fan, but not yet fanatical, please refer to #3. Saying Adam may be lying doesn't qualify. Perhaps ASKING long term fans for their experience and perspective, and listening, might get you the answers you seek.
For our long term members, if you wish to argue or debate with dominica or another member, please take it to a private message. There are so many wonderful things happening in Adam's world, that we should be focusing on that on the public forum.
Now, onward and UPWARD!
Thanks.

Has anyone done 2019 Year in Review post yet?
I'm sure I'll miss a lot of stuff, so please add to it> these aren't really in chronological order, just stuff that I remember from last year. He's done a lot of different things. Let's not forget that there are MANY, MANY singers in the world who would kill for just one or two of these things (to have their own documentary, for example, to open the Oscars, or to release music that garners so much acclaim, or just to appear on some high profile TV shows), and Adam has done ALL of this (and more) in just one year!
Queen + Adam Lambert open the Oscars QAL North American Tour
AL releases Feel Something, New Eyes, Comin in Hot as singles + music videos AL releases Superpower single + music video and Velvet: Side A EP AL releases Live Sessions for all the songs on the EP AL releases Believe as single, and Please Come Home for Christmas on Spotify
Appearances on AU, UK, US TV programs (many high profile): The Show Must Go On Documentary airs in US, UK, Australia, New Zealand Adam on American Idol as Mentor and Performer Adam on the Voice as Performer Home For Holidays Christmas special Performer Guest on RuPaul show, Jonathan Ross show, James Corden Late Late Show (performance plus Masked Singer skit) Live with Kelly and Ryan (interview and performance) Strictly Come Dancing (performance)
lots of Radio appearances as guest
Global Citizen Festival QAL Concert Avicii tribute concert Performer Pittsburgh Light Up Night concert Almost Acoustic Xmas concert Solo concerts in New York, LA, Fantasy Springs YouTube space mini concert and interview

Cassie, When we were looking at our favorite solo and QAL performances of the decade, almost my first thought was to pull up the QAL New Years Eve performance for the first sight of about the sparkliest I have almost seen those lovely eyes and that impish grin, as he said before that concert, able to ride the tube virtually unnoticed to after the concert, being shocked that he was surrounded by a rush of fans.
But what I observed and meant to ask was what I noticed already: his fiddling with, I believe, his left earpiece, It seems as if it might have even become more frequent today, with the result that at some point, we are likely to see it bouncing merrily against his back as he dances, because at some point he just removed it. Do you know what is the ongoing problem? Over time, haven’t they improved earpieces enough to correct whatever the issue is? I know we have talked about his sensitive to sound, but I was watching El Rey and noticing again. Sorry if you have already answered this, and I understand if you are too busy to answer.

Well my granddaughter heard SP on radio yesterday. She works at a hospital and she heard it playing on the radio but didn't catch the station. I thought that was exciting!! I'm loving that the live sessions will count. I love listening to and watching them. His voice is so good. Thanks for the playlist. Boy, those concerts were wonderful. Can't get enough of El Rey especially. Now, can anyone tell what was so interesting about the mike in front of the drummer. Adam made numerous trips to it. In our town? Great!!! We must have lunch sometime!

Even though high end ear pieces are custom molded to your ear the way your jaw moves causes the ear canal to flex so ear pieces will loosen or shift. Especially when hitting the kind of high notes that Adam does. I remember The Edge from U2 talking about how singing, especially when hitting high notes or using falsetto changes the shape of the ear canal causing the ear pieces to shift so you are constantly having to adjust them.
I personally have problems with any kind of ear bud because my ears will get super oily and waxy with stuff in them so I have to take mine out and wipe them off.

You did such a great list & review and I supposed when you mentioned US TV programs, this was included but it's special enough that it should have its own line -- of course, The Kennedy Center performance honoring Cher!! If I missed something, forgive me and thanks for the great review!!
