I loved Feel Something from the start. I love the message, but I really like that choir-like background vocal. It gives the song a lot of depth and richness. I hope he sings that song now and then in his solo shows. Adam seems to be following our political races here at home. Good for him! He likes to be informed. I love this song. He did it in the December shows. I'm hoping to see him perform it live in Vegas! And I do like the fact that he stays informed. 💜😎🥰💖

I also love that Adam stays informed. Democracy can slip away if we don't take care of it. We need to fight for it every day. Also: don't underestimate a siblings power. Isn't Adams Brother a major in politics?

Feel Something is an absolute treasure, imo. He has been singing it in previous concerts. I think that song, and many others on Velvet, bring him to another level. The critics seem to agree. And he has pretty much said he wanted a different vibe to his work. He also side he appreciated that someone like GaGa had changed things up. Change is good.
I remember when Adam said he voted for President Obama. And he was for Hillary. I don't think his brother was so hyped up for either of them. But I think Adam is, and has been, very much aware of what is in his best interests and he makes his own judgements. It is just that he has not been as vocal about it as some in his family. And that is fine. Many family members are not always on the same page and some can be more vocal than others.

Those of you going to Vegas and wanting a meetup may want to go to the meetup thread and indicate that so we can make reservations before it is really difficult to get them where and when we want them. As of now, we have 12 atoppers wanting to meet for supper/drinks on Wed. the 22nd and 10 for Friday the 24th. 3 people have expressed interest in the newly opened up shows on the 18th and 19th....I expect that number will change but I will not be around for that so can't help out. MeggyMeg is taking the lead on the Wed. 22 meetup and I am taking the lead on the Friday the 24th one. I would especially like to be able to nail a rough number for the Friday meetup as that is likely or perhaps going to be the more difficult one due to the massive influx of NFL'ers expected that weekend. That may not be an issue as they likely have an organized even already but there are still lots of assorted related peeps around then, I should think. Numbers will change over time but a reservation for 10 is difficult to change to 28 should the numbers suddenly swell..... :

Isn't Adams Brother a major in politics? Good for Adam to let us know that he does step out of the music bubble here and there to check in with the world that we live in. I think it is a good thing - it sparks discussions and raises awareness, for the sake and preservation of our democracy and other relevant topics. I believe that Neil studied political science, and I am sure that they have good discussions within the family.

That’s amazing. The scene from the movie popped into my head where the record company guy says how awful it is (played by Mike Myers of Wayne’s World fame). More famous today than ever.
