Thanks for the open thread today...that was fun. I feel like we got to know each other just a little bit better.

The fact that this is NOT the norm is sickening.
I got a similar email from Delta today. Says they will be passing out hand sanitizer and amenities to each passenger. I'll still be bringing anti bacterial wipes. The monitors and tray tables in airplanes are known to be germ infested, just like many cell phones. First thing I do when I board a flight is to pull out my disinfecting wipes, and I started a daily routine now with my cell phone.

Interesting. I'm in Michigan Amazon is one of our biggest accounts. The rep here that handles Amazon just got back from meetings in Seattle. Company debated on whether to let him go or not. At least the people he went to see were working in the office. Maybe it depends on what you do. He doesn't have any symptoms at all. I'll be going to Vegas as long as they don't get canceled. It's a shame your sister etc can't play it by ear. My niece is an analyst for Amazon in Downtown Seattle. I asked her if she is worried, and she is not, even since one the deaths occurred at Amazon HQ. The order for work from home started last week. She's thrilled and will not miss the 90 minute commute from her home. My son and my DH work for tech companies here in the South Bay and they both are pretty happy to be working from home, especially my son who won't have to commute for over an hour one way from SF. My daughter however works for a medical clinic in Oakland and no break for her of course They are wearing protective gear though.

My husband is being treated for a lung infection that they can't identify yet. This has been going on for several weeks but he collapsed today. The plan is to give him IV antibiotics and hope that does it but he has been getting weaker and weaker. First hand experience is that they are all masked and gloved and there is antibacterial stuff everywhere. I'm hoping they get it cause he is already compromised with the lung cancer.

gypsyladee - I hope that your husband is OK. Hospitals are already stressful but this all must make it so much worse.
I had a different but strange experience when I returned to the US from abroad in February. When we were about to board the plane they read a whole list of countries that if you had been to in the past 2 weeks, I could not board the plane for the US. Thankfully I was only in the UK but.... what would I have done? Lived in the airport.

Since we can post anything today, I have a question, but I'll have to explain a little first. My Mac laptop has the fake-flash-needs-update-virus. It functions by taking over the page one is looking at and posting things saying that one's flash needs updating click here, etc. I never clicked on any of their things, but I can't get rid of it. I have used a cleaner and deleted everything that was suggested that I delete, which was a ton of things. Still have the virus. The odd thing is that the virus only redirects pages and puts out its fake flash-needs-update stuff when I'm on Adamtopia. It does it when I'm looking at a daily thread, not on the landing page. It only happens when I'm using Safari. It also only happens at night. Anyone else experiencing this? Any ideas that might help me get rid of this virus? If cleaner programs continue to be unable to solve the problem I guess I'll have to go to a computer doc. Thanks. peace&love Do you have MalwareBytes installed? www.malwarebytes.com/

These two objects are even more infeted with germs (in quantity and quality) than your toilet sead! (Not to Go into too much detail)
