This tweet just reminded me how much I love "Give The People What They Want", and I can only imagine how much fun Adam must have had when recording it.

Well, I consider myself a devoted, active fan who does have a real life above and beyond Adam. Lots of family, different things I do in my life that are not Adam-related. It's a good thing. Like I said earlier, I just want him to win some awards now and then. He shouldn't have to wait till he gets a "Lifetime Achievement Award" thirty years from now in order to win something. An occasional bit of official, tangible recognition would feel really good for him and his fans. He is earning it every single day. Speaking of every single day, I wonder what Adam has been doing these past few days? Been pretty quiet out there. I get where you are coming from and I agree. Loving Adam does not mean there is nothing else going on in anyone's life. And I want him to get more recognition too. But sometimes I just try to back away, lol. I just read an article about Frank Ocean and they were basically giving him ALL the credit for putting out gay artists in the mainstream. Frank set the stage for others to follow. They even talked about his #2 album on the Billboard 200. No mention of the guy who was actually the 1st out gay artist to have a #1 on Billboard 200, lol. They mentioned his impact on artists like Halsey and Billie and some others, who were able to embrace the "weird" because of Frank. But I guess they could not bring up Adam or even SS cause that would defeat the narrative. And they brought up all of Frank's Grammy's but it was SS who actually got so many of them in a more competitive genre (I doubt he could do that now tho). I understood the article was about Frank and he has achieved a lot but it did sting a bit. Tho they talked of his impact in the AA community, and that was accurate, but they still gave him all the credit overall. Adam was putting up with all the crap from the time he stepped foot on the Idol stage and then some. All the publicity about him was widespread and international so it is not as if no one knows. And it was before any of these others had an audience. The media did the same thing when they thought Troye was going to blow up. They always want Adam to talk about being gay, well let him talk about being the trailblazer that he s too. It would be nice if Adam's impact was also recognized a little more often.

@dottydots_x: Goodnight Glamberts. Sleep well everyone 😴🌙⭐️✨💫 Wow! That is a lot of pretty this late in the evening. LOL. Handsome, handsome man. I love it when you can actually see his face and eyes. I think that photo is from the Clive Davis Grammy party when Adam did the tribute to Bowie. I haven't watched TSMGO in a few days so I think I will revisit again tonight. And from Pi's post, TISI is one of my favorite Adam songs.

Tbh maybe a different viewpoint. But I think we should be generally content with Adam's level of success. It's not megastardom like some might of predicted. But he is an international star. He has had steady success for so many years. He well outlast most of the popstars you see today. He well have longevity. His work with Queen is legendary. He's a legend. He may never reach any real level of commercial acclaim. But I've been following Adam since 2009. I'm quite satisfied with his level of success. This is just my point of view. I don't mean to belittle anyone else's opinions
