I really like Vincint's song I'll Save Myself. It's very catchy.

Never had a problem with the fan site. Reflecting on 2019 and this hellish 2020 - 2019 was a great year for me and QAL/Adam. Went to MSG one night, two nights in LA, a wonderful week in NOLA for sightseeing and the concert, plus the added bonus of most of Queen staying in the same hotel as us (not Adam, though) then the concert with Global Citizens in NYC Central Park. Followed by Adam's solo concert at Foxwoods. And then - poof. I've been working remotely, in my basement, feeling like a mushroom, since March 19. (At least I'm working, but I miss social interaction.) I have a little pod of children and grandchildren (and husbands) that I see. Not even church - it's not worth the risk since I'm 65, even with attendance limited to 50. Looking at maybe having to cut my work hours back to help my daughter with schooling the grandkids in the very likely scenario that schools in NJ will not open. I hope for a better 2021, but there has to be some turn-around beyond the northeast of the US to get this handled. Including, finally, a national response. Who would have thought the Northeast states would be looking so good now. That only shows what a strong state government with a plan looks like. I live in Portland and we are in our 54th day of protests. It's gotten so bad the eastern part of the state wants to be part of Idaho. 2021 can't come soon enough.

😖😖. I've never had so much trouble in my life as I've had trying to get signed up to the fan club and ordering my shirt! I finally ordered a shirt so guess I'm in the fan club except I'm still not sure I'm in the right place. All I'm getting is old pics and fb comments! 😖 Then, I ended up on PayPal which I didn't intend to sign up for, and don't want! I'm really sorry I started this whole mess. And, Now I'm on PayPal and need to get off. This is the second time I've ended up there and DIDN'T want to be!! Oh well -- Once you get in select hub. That's where the newer stuff is. Personally I like PayPal but that's just me. I like not having to enter my credit card in places. Paypal usually has the option of just putting in your credit card when purchasing (they call it PayPal Guest Checkout) without having to create an account. I don't know why Adam's site isn't allowing that option. edit - I see rihannsu suggested this already. I tried since I prefer not logging in and usually do the guest checkout all the time. Couldn't find that option. I have paypal accounts so I eventually did it that way but didn't make me happy.

I hope for a better 2021, but there has to be some turn-around beyond the northeast of the US to get this handled. Including, finally, a national response. I'm just miserably cynical these days. Found out yesterday that our schools weren't even going to consider opening until *January*. My daughter has literally not set eyes on another child since March. I haven't seen my parents since February. My flower girl was set to be married in December and they just threw up their hands and canceled so they can be virtually married in a few weeks (she works in hospital administration and..well..if something happened they wanted to be married first). My husband has pretty much every possible risk factor and, because of that, I have left the house exactly twice in the last two months. Once to take my daughter to the pediatrician. The other to drop my ballot into the collection box at our Town Hall. Same tank of gas from freaking February. And now our local COVID numbers - which were on the downswing enough that we were about to finally see my folks - are rocketing up again. Just so damn depressed. All these months at home have been for nothing. I think the January school news just broke us. We were so hoping to get to a quasi-normal by Thanksgiving, and there seems almost no hope for even that. We fully understand in my family just how incredibly fortunate we are to be able to work at home during these crazy times with an affordable mortgage and decent insurance, a situation which way too many other people don't possess (just contributed to a friend's GoFundMe account because she absolutely can't pay next month's rent after all her contract work vanished). I am so done, done, done with all of this. Been trying to listen to more music lately, but it's not really helping. Miss concerts so damn much.

Well, George W Bush called Portland "Little Beruit" back in the day. We are a hockey town, hence the sticks, and the blowers are being used to blow the tear gas away. Now there's a rumor the National Guard may be called to help protect the protesters from the unmarked military guys being surged against Democratic cities. What a sight that would be.

Been trying to listen to more music lately, but it's not really helping. Miss concerts so damn much. Sorry to hear all that. Here in BC, we really bent the curve -- but now that things have opened up, the cases are rising and especially in the 20-29 years set. Our health officer, Dr Bonnie Henry, is great. She doesn't want it to be a no fun summer, but has just told restaurants and bars only 6 people at a table with assigned seating -- no mingling with others, no standing at the bar, no dancing, etc. We don't have masks mandated here yet, but it may be coming. It is really sad to see what is happening in the USA. We are a tourist town and the best tourists are Americans! It is very quiet here without you all.
