If memory serves, when Shosh was responding to fans about Adam's 2021 plans, she commented to one fan that there was more to Adam's schedule than just touring - so I'm selfishly hoping there's something more than just QAL on tap for him next year. I'm happy he has QAL, but I became a fan for Solo!Adam, and he's still the main reason I'm here. The other thing is- in the ask me anything segment on the fanclub site. A person asked if he had outfits for Velvet tour that he didn't get to wear. He said there were things planned for next year where he would get to wear everything. So I think there are upcoming events that we don't know about yet.

donnamb I read elsewhere there is a Rock in Rio Brazil in September or October that hasn't been announced yet because it's not finalized. That would fit more into QAL's time table. Guess we'll see.

I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that something will happen that will properly acknowledge and conclude "Velvet", though I am not counting on it given Shoshanna's comment not too long ago that there won't be any time for it next year. I realize that plans are likely in place for QAL to be a major part of Adam's professional life again, for understandable reasons, yet my heart is with Adam as a solo artist. I thought she was speaking about a Velvet tour or Velvet European Tour. The Residency was for one week and not the same commitment as a tour. My guess is since Roger spoke in an interview about a South American tour, that we hadn't heard about, that was likely already in the works (after the European leg would make sense) if it happens. That could explain why Adam could not fit in a Velvet tour. If he waited until after all the QAL stuff, it would be old. Of course tho the residency is so short, the venue would still need to be available when a week would fit into his schedule. Not going to bet on it either but maybe it is a wait and see if they can work it in when the coast is clear. But QAL or solo I look forward to Adam being back in action in some form. I look at it as one big career with different phases and timetables. Love them both. I hope you are correct in the way you perceived Shoshanna's comment. Sure, a one week residency would be easier to accommodate than a tour, especially if the tour involved another co-headliner, so it can't hurt to hope.
