"Closer To You" and "Feel Something" are two emotional ballads by Adam from Velvet that make me melt. That Corden performance of CTY, as well as A Home for The Holidays performance, were thrilling and emotional. While I am so pleased to finally hear Adam sing his own heartfelt songs, including "On The Moon" on network tv, my hopes that one would land on the radio were dashed yet again. It is hard to believe that after an eleven year career, it has never happened for such a dynamic and diverse talent. And he has had many great songs over the years. He mixes emotion with outstanding vocals with feeling better than anyone I know. Adam is an incredible balladeer, and despite him being a very versatile singer that's where I see his biggest strength. Yet, I tend to appreciate his ballads most when he performs them live - the stage is where he takes the songs up another notch for me. "Home For the Holidays" was a total stunner, even on the recordings, and I totally melted when he performed the song live in December right in front of my eyes. Such good times. Radio... I think it's a nasty game of who's in and who's out, unless someone is lucky enough to break through on streaming platforms. Adam knows it at this point. Life is not fair. We see it all the time, unfortunately. Thankfully, Adam is doing alright without radio.

As we are talking about celebrities like Adam speaking up and showing their frustration ... I think I might add Taylor Swift to my list of "favorite nasty women" now.
Different people strike different tones, but one thing is clear: These are not ordinary times and we are in survival mode to save our democracy. HeWhoCannot amed, his enablers, as well as his allies don't deserve to be treated with respect. If Adam is showing frustration by giving the finger, that's totally fine with me. "T" is doing that figuratively all the time.

Thank you, SophieB and eeniemeenie, for providing links to the eBay site. Nothing yet . . . I've added that delivery is international . . . We'll see what happens in a week! I've never done this before, but I think someone will want it - - - even if it's for less than the asking bid. I was fortunate to get, from Chris Saunders himself, the original and only 'proof' of this wolf! I must say, that this limited edition print for sale - and the one I have displayed in my new home - look just as beautiful. I’m not on any social media so I’m no help at all - but perhaps you could get someone with a large following to tweet/Facebook out the Links. Perhaps Adam himself would do it! Good luck, old friend. It’s a beautiful print and a beautiful idea.

You may want to see if you can change something to make it clear they both signed it. Unless I'm missing something that's not real obvious.

But I was expressing my feelings about him not getting one of his beautiful ballads on the radio. I was not expecting or looking for a change. Just voicing My frustration cause I had nothing else better to do, lol.

Adam's "no radio play" is the musical conundrum of the decade. With songs just as good if not better than any chart-topper, with the voice, looks and personality of any big star, it never ceases to amaze me that his music remains a hidden secret to so many.

I think it's okay to be frustrated at times and vent. We all need it in one way or the other. I thought that "Superpower" had all the ingredients of a successful single. And the studio recording is so good. I still get pumped whenever i hear the song.
The other day I went on a longer car trip and listened to all the Adam albums, except I didn't have FYE with me. It made me really appreciate "Trespassing" and TOH again, and "the very best of..." which includes One, Tracks Of My Tears, Time For Miracles, Marry The Night and Can't Let You Go. What a treat! I immediately wanted to revise my "Top 5 songs for the rest of the pandemic" list or at least state that I can't actually narrow it down to only 5 songs. I had not listened to "Trespassing" the song for a while and I found it so powerful and catchy, also Shady and Runnin only to name a few. And I love Kickin In. I almost forgot how TOH is loaded with treasures for me - GT, TOH, Things I Didn't Say, The Light, Heavy Fire, After Hours, Shame... found new love for all of them!!!!! I actually listened to Shame several times. I somehow felt the "original high" again on that car trip as I listened to one album after the other, and of course "Velvet" is an incredible work of art. Adam has created awesome music and I really want it to be heard by everybody!!!!!! I am still upset that the worst songs were chosen as singles during the TP period. They didn't do the album justice. Rant over. Sorry.

The "other" category in the Billboard poll is at the top of the list right now. I wonder how many of the write-ins are Adam. I know I have entered his name in lots of times in the past couple days.
