For the past few years, I have been listening pretty much exclusively to QAL and to Adam solo. Of course, like maybe all of us, I have read, skimmed, and heard enough at concerts to be more than aware of the pink elephant in the room. Lately, though, because my heart is a little bit broken about whether we will actually ever see QAL again, I have spent a large portion of time watching Aerosmith. I was listening to one of their songs I don’t care for so much, so I was lazily reading the comments, and one came up saying that in a particular spot in the song he sounded like Freddie. Stephen reference, of course, even though he wasn’t named and my brain automatically supplied “Adam” after years of exposure. Thereafter followed the usual furious debates about how nobody could possibly surpass or come close to Freddie Mercury. By now, I am pretty inured to the Freddie this and that, so I comfortably kept reading until the song ended. Then “Love in an Elevator” came on, and something clicked in my brain. I was watching and listening to Aerosmith! I checked to be sure about the comments. Yes, here they were. Is there, do you think,, a place in rock and roll where the Pink Elephant hasn’t been? Don’t get me wrong : I love Freddie. But sigh, just sigh.

I am wondering if Adam is watching the stream from the Democratic Convention just now. I sure am!! Really good, and uplifting!

LOL. That's why I mentioned what I was thinking. No salacious thoughts here Obviously, the salacious thoughts were mine lol. . Well, it is silly, but touching that signature did make me feel a bit closer to the man! Normally, there would be a plastic wrapper on a new album and that had been removed. I thought did he do that or was someone else given that task. Did he really sign this? I hope so! I've been a fan since day one which I still find somewhat bewildering as I've never had a "fan crush" before. I did think of all the pleasure Adam has brought me over the years. And when I say pleasure, I mean enjoyment, fun, insight, and community. I'm a happy fan!

Yep, happy fan here too...and I don't even get to go to a bunch of concerts. I just really enjoy everything he brings to the table as an artist. I have yet to get bored by him, to be honest.

Just starting to watch the Pride concert. I like Adam's shirt, but doesn't it make him look like he's got a tummy? I can't decide whether it's just an illusion or, like the rest of us, he's been cooking and baking lol. Not a fan of Love Don't, but I'll reserve judgement until I hear it in this concert. I wasn't a fan of On The Moon either, and completely fell in love with the Corden version. Made my jaw drop actually. Ok, back to watching...I keep getting interrupted. For some reason, it's always quiet...until I try to watch something, and suddenly everybody needs to talk to me! I think he may have put on some weight. I expect he's always fighting that battle. We know he put on a lot of weight as a teen -- eating his feelings I think he said. I've noticed that people's bodies often want to get back to certain set points. You can diet, but the weight just creeps back. I was trying to decide about the shirt as I watched the show. I'm not a huge fan of animal prints. This shirt seemed to have a light stripe down the back. It kept reminding me of a game we used to play at recess in winter. You rub a snowball down the back of someone's coat and yell "skunk." Probably not allowed on playgrounds anymore!

All I seem to do is cook, especially now that hubby is working from home. But for me, cooking is peaceful; I really enjoy it.

Happy, I just love your story and I so totally know what you mean!! I have an Adam blanket and honestly, when I'm wrapped in it, I feel as if I'm being hugged by him and I just love it!!! This has absolutely been my only, in my whole life, fan girl, groupie ( I wish) connection and I'm NOT crazy!! I'm a perfectly sane woman with a beautiful life. Just from reading this site, I realize that there are so many of us with these feelings that we can't all be crazy!! 😂😂😂😂. I totally love my obsession and I'm so grateful it's appeared in my life!!!

WOW! Unfortunately, I took a look at that Twitter account and they had a separate list for touring and they didn't even make the top 10. There were also lists for streaming and publishing, which they did make. So if this list is for sales, I'm guessing it might mean record sales, which Adam isn't a part of. Definitely impressive for Brian and Roger.

Definitely impressive for Brian and Roger. There are a lot of different lists. It depends on what you look at at. The one I saw that I thought was more noticeable related to touring was a per show deal, I forget the exact details. QAL was 3rd or 4th. Anyone ahead of them had more shows or more arena capacity. Like I said can't remember the exact details this was a while back.
