Good morning. Yesterday I posted a note about Momtomany as members were concerned for her and the fires. I will re-post it here today since it was late yesterday when I heard from her.
Yesterday:
"I just heard from Momtomany and she and her home are safe. The evacuation line is 200 yards from her home. The east side of her road is mandatory evacuation but her west side of the road is a warning. The wind is shifting now and hopefully sending the winds away from them. Hope this will continue and I am praying for all who are in the fire's path.
Momtomany wanted to let everybody know here she was safe right now. I am so relieved to have heard from her.
Sending love and light to all experiencing these horrific fires."
I will update if I hear anymore news from her.
I have been so worried about momtomany and those who have to contend with these massive out of contol fires. I saw a few images she posted of her chandelier, and home in ruins, then her rebuild home. It would be a very bitter, scary, totally depressing experience. My sis in law and niece have been hit with hail damage 3 times since 2016. The June 13, 2020 storm is officially the worst hailstorm in Canadian history with 1.2 billion in damages. It was over in minutes, with tennis ball size hail. Their cars have been totalled twice with storms, and of course windiws and the exterior of their home. As per a question that was asked earlier ..regarding does insurance continue to pay out. Thankfully in their case --yes-- insurance has covered their claims but deductibles still add up for house, cars, outside losses etc. They were asked if they wanted to change to hail proof exterior. At 25,000.00 that was not going to be a reality for them. They have purchased a new ... not yet built home, in a diff location in town. They said they had to get out of the NE part of town, after 3 hail storms in 4 years. Interesting how they are hit and we did not even get rain in the SW. Good luck for us...darn bad luck for them. Will keep crossing fingers for Atopers...well, keep fingers crossed for all who are enduring the stress of natural disasters. Fires are an issue here too, and Canada received assistance with firefighters from abroad in the past. And I know Canadian trained firefighters are helping the US too. (Australia last year). Thank gosh for humanitarian spirits.

Chicago TribuneReview: Live album shows why Adam Lambert is perfect for Queen
Adam Lambert is not Freddie Mercury. Nor, to his credit, does he try to be. What he is, though, is the perfect successor to the iconic Queen vocalist, seemingly predestined to revive the supergroup with his own impossible vocals and over-the-top showmanship. “Live Around the World,” culled from every tour they’ve done over the last six years, shows the “American Idol” runner-up breathing new life into some of the greatest rock songs ever written, and putting them across just as boldly and fabulously as Mercury did. But Lambert is no human photocopier; on song after song, he brings his own sensibility and finely-calibrated vocals, unlocking possibilities that had lain hidden for decades. “Don’t Stop Me Now,” which was a minor hit for Queen in the ’70s but has exponentially grown in popularity since then, helped by its use in TV commercials, finds Lambert teasing the audience by comedically stretching out a note as the audience is ready to charge ahead. But it all comes with a wink and a nod; on “Fat Bottomed Girls,” performed in Texas with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders dancing onstage, Lambert follows the line “Ain’t no beauty queens in this locality” with the ad-libbed, “Not true!” Campiness aside, Lambert may just have the best voice in rock music today, and yes, let’s just say it: There are times he hits notes Mercury dared not, at least not onstage, where Mercury often relied on drummer Roger Taylor as a stunt vocalist to hit the highest notes to help preserve his own voice for the grueling year-long tours the band did. Love the review in the Chicago Trib! (my home newspaper). Really gets to the essence of what makes QAL works so beautifully.
Excited about Adam's two Aussie and NZ Project appearances!

Yes, this happened to me as well, and Queen Online canceled my first order which contained my print and picture disk. I am just sick because these items can't be reordered. I sent a pleading email to the store to see if they could help. I don't think it will do any good because there was limited supply. Just sick.
