pi, since you’ve started making a comment before posting the tweet or whatever, I haven’t been having problems with your posts loading. For whatever reason, it seems to work! That's good to know.. thanks for the feedback! This was Q3's suggestion, and I'm glad it's working. Sometimes I'm at a loss for what to write or in a hurry, so it might just be a quick word or two. Actually, it was rihannsu who suggested it to me. And then I tested it. I have not had any reports of an issue since. So it does seem to work.

According to Brian, he didn’t have a big heart surgery though. The problem was detected early enough and he got 3 stents. My mother and uncle both got stents as well after having heart attacks. They never had a problem since then (almost 20 years ago now, so yes, they have been younger than Brian is now). They are fit and healthy. My husband had three stents and years later a new heart valve.. It gave him many more active healthy years.This especially if you haven't had a heart attack,therefore you don't have any heart damage.. IMHO, Brian should be as good as new My husband also just barely avoided a heart attack because he felt unusually tired and got tested. He got 4 stents, and his recoverery was very rapid. He was better then new after it. (And very lucky!!) ** OT but I went to a supermarket for the first time since March on Saturday. First time I have been anywhere. And it was frightening. I live in Arizona where mask wearing is not considered important and there is no enforcement. I saw chin masks, no masks, and even a face mask only covering someone's eyes. I grabbed what I needed, used self-checkout and got out fast. ** Back to Adam and QAL I want to get back to normal. I want to go to a concert! I want Adam solo, Adam with Queen, something. Yes, I am clearly an addict!

It's Rosh Hashanah -- the start of the new year. {I need to go to services now -- online ones of course.}
I would like to think of new beginnings today and how we can start a new year with a new blank page.
I am working to be optimistic and see new possibilities today.
So, even if you are not Jewish, perhaps you can pretend for one day.

I think my deepest grief is about losing yet another person with honor and integrity, as with John Lewis before her, and Elijah Cummings before him, etc etc etc. There seem to be so few people like that these days. I was thinking the same thing for a bit -- and then I realized that we have moved from the age of pioneers (the "firsts") to the next period -- a period of action and achievement. We have a long, long way to achieve gender equality but it is now a majority opinion that it is right that people be treated equally in much of the world -- and even in the USA. I am working on a fourth-wave feminism (FWF) project now. FWF is a kind of feminism that began around 2012 and is characterized by a focus on the empowerment of women and is centered on intersectionality and is in digital space. Through this project I have met some amazing people who are doing amazing things, none of whom will probably ever be famous. I am mostly focused on technical and digital equality and not so much on Intersectionality which I am really just starting to understand. Intersectionality is a theoretical framework for understanding how aspects of a person's social and political identities (e.g., gender, sex, race, class, sexuality, religion, disability, physical appearance, height, etc.) combine to create unique modes of discrimination and privilege. Women, LGBTQ, racial minorities, large people, small people, and so on, all face different modes of discrimination.My point is, there is a lot of great work being done, but we have moved to dealing with systematic problems that involve deep culture -- and are far more challenging to change. And, yet, the people doing this work are likely to never become famous. ** On a related note, if you have not seen the mini-series Mrs. America on Hulu. It is free and I recommend it. I am really upset too. But we can't talk about some things that are of interest so we are stuck with old/older straight women stalking a gay man's personal relationships, lol. I am all for Adam having a personal interest but it would be nice to wait until he has something he wants to share about who he is dating. But giving him some privacy does not seem to be an option so here we are yet again. Maybe politics aside, we could honor a great women who opened the doors for equality in the workplace for women.. She also fought for equal pay...there are places that maybe we can all come together and say thank you for what there is agreement on. Yes, you may.

Ruth B. Ginsburg is my focus today.. Would be nice to spend a couple of minutes thinking about her and for her fight for equality for all. Especially equality for women and the LGBTQ Community.. My heart is shattered by her death. I am really upset too.
