Dear Simone, unfortunately I can't go with you on that trip - BUT, if you really feel tempted to do it, if you REALLY want to be there and if you have the slightest chance to fulfill this dream. Then go and have the time of your life Aw thank you augenpoesie! I'll take that in mind. Now I have to work.... Hard time concentrating. I can't say it better than augenpoesie. I decided to make a crazy trip for Adam once, almost two years ago. And even though looking at my bank account still makes me a bit sad sometimes, it was the best decision I ever made. Memories that last a lifetime. If you can go, go!!

Now for the most important thing: do we know these red pants? I don't, but I'd like to get to know them

People on the stream are denying hearing anything in his voice. He's breathing so heavily now though. Normally you don't hear this. He's almost out of breath.... If.... IF his cords are swollen or coated with phlegm, he has to use more force from his breath to get them to vibrate. Hence, out of breath. Or my theory is right and the virus that quite a lot of us Europeans that were on the TOH tour have gotten is actually Adam's virus that he had before he came here. The one we have goes into the lungs and I can tell you it's a nasty bugger. Not easy to get rid of either. So... Not as much breath as normal, hence not enough force for the high notes / sustained phrases. Good news is, if he is indeed feeling a bit like I do, that I have unexplicable 'bad days' and the next day I am quite okay again. Let's hope that's it and the next one is fine.

I didn't think he sounded flat, just very weak. And didn't even finish some lyrics...that's why I asked if he was doing acrobatics, 'cos he sounded out of breath and I can't get the periscope to play for me, so I couldn't see what he was doing... Yup, I added to my last post that he was NOT singing flat. Just dodging the high power notes, not sustaining notes he usually does and omitting some phrases while letting the audience or the other guys sing them. This was 'Broken English' or in this case, Broken Dutch. One of my fellow Dutchies used the literal translation of vlak, meaning 'not very dynamic', 'not going for the high notes' and absolutely not 'out of tune'. He sounds fine, unless you know him.

I heard, and I wondered what he has been doing the last days with his voice. Some studio work maybe? A party? Or just another cold? He does seem happy though. I did ask myself why he changed some stuff up, and then very silently and egoïstically thought... Brussels is not even two weeks away... Please stay healthy Adam, for you ánd for me.Been hoping a bit the same! Hope he didn't catch something in Cologne or Jelling with that rain! Well, he barely got two drops on him with the umbrella and staying on the main stage.

Yes.....even with daylight savings time....we don't have sun past 8 something PM in the summer...at least where I live. Really? I thought it weird and wonderful when I lived in north western Spain and it didn't get dark until after 6.30 in the deepest winter. When I travelled to Toronto to see Adam I did a stopover in Iceland. July, high summer. I went to some bars one evening and came back to the hotel at 2 am. There was still enough light to take a picture without flash. Amazing to see! It just didn't really get dark at all.
