fwiw, I mentioned the eclipse as the likely main reason for Brian's trim over a week ago but no discussion ensued....:)
Been there myself on these things...many a time...comment ...no response...someone else comments and ...well you know. I Get It!
I should have paid more attention but last week I had 4 adults for company ...so barely skimmed the thread...sorry ...excuses excuses... You have obviously been more up to date than most of us --well for sure me...haha I heard about it on the radio, just this week in relation to caution re pets, then a huge spread in the Friday newspaper on the eclipse.
I saw it but didn't have anything to say. Made sense to me but the middle of Tennessee may be cloudy tomorrow so LA made better sense than where they are.
However my main point in responding to this is that I would really like a "Like" button to push for when I don't have a comment to make.
Gelly @14gelly From @adamlambert snapchat video, Pharaoh , so adorable!
And shooting it peekaboo style is almost proof that Pharaoh is camera shy. You can see him being very interested and then has time to look at what Adam's holding and he almost starts to look away again.
Thanks! Adam is so thoughtful, rational and encouraging with his comments. He never makes it about himself when he knows it took a lot for someone to go public. I remember how supportive he was in an interview when Rickey Martin went public and someone asked his opinion.
And Adam never says that people have to come out. He says they can choose to be as open or as closeted as they want. I wonder also if his push back with "I hadn't heard that" was that he was asked specifically about Aaron coming out as bisexual (ie a label) which he didin't. Aaron just said he was attracted to both boys and girls in his post and then the media labeled that as bisexual. I also thought it was interesting that Adam said bisexualism was the last frontier beyond transgender which since bisexual is a term that's been out there a long long time was a new concept to me that it wasn't understood. I guess I'll be prepared to learn.
I'm scared to look at the scale. I know it's not great because of the pair of pants I put on this morning. Now my hubby's lost 50 lbs in the last year and a half. Really proud of him. A lot do to some stress relief with a job change. My job's good so like you stardust it's dealing with aging parents on top of my aging self that's stressful. Hope your mom's doing good.
ok, so I had to go check out the car pool karoke article posted and look at who else they thought would be good and ran across Taylor Swift's Shake it Off video. Wouldn't it be fun to have a goofy Adam in a video of his own like this?
haha. I have to agree with them. They called the suit wrinkly and well I didn't like the look from about mid-chest down. Top was all gorgeous and there might be some suits that could pull off those shoes, this just wasn't one of them. And lol, the stans are getting to them so they are purposefully throwing snark which I think is ok and usually funny. They still don't have quite the take on how to do that but it's ok. Some fans get it and some keep piling on.
It's too bad her appearance in Adam's ALN music vid got such backlash. I can't remember what faction was complaining or maybe it was just trolls that follow her. There were lots of her fans that showed up to watch the vid too.
Welcome to Thadapalooza! A Fundraiser for the LGBT+ community of Independence, MO
My name is Thad! That's me, Adam Lambert, and my husband Dustin when we got the opportunity to meet him at a concert. (psst, that's me over there in the lavender too)
Thadapalooza was inspired by Adam Lambert. I read that Adam turned his birthday celebration into a fundraiser! I thought, what a wonderful opportunity to make an impact for good! I decided that I was going to do just that! So, with the help of some amazing friends I've been able to have some pretty amazing birthdays! Thadapalooza was started to help the local LBGT+ community. Check out the HISTORY tab to find out more about the previous years events.
My single goal in life is to make such an impression of Good in this world that it can't be ignored! I believe that through Thadapalooza, I'm doing just that! I owe all the success of Thadapalooza to all the fabulous people that have helped, participated and supported it! I'm still in awe to be so blessed and so supported! Thank you to everyone who has and continues to support Thadapalooza! 2017 is going to be EPIC! Not only has the Independence Human Relations Commission has agreed to add Thadapalooza to its list of events, but we also have an outstanding line-up of entertainers!
This is called Impact!
eta: Is there a thread that lists the various events and projects?
Trying to post the Morongo video of Wicked Game. Not sure I'm successful----? I know it's not one of his own songs---but OMG---Adam at his most sensual in his delivery, facial expressions, glances around the room---too gorgeous for words on that hot, rainy night in the desert. If I came across this video at random -on my way to who knows where---and didn't know who this was, I would have to stop in my tracks and frantically look him up---and that would be the beginning of the end for me!
@glambert_Angels: Thank you message to Adam Lambert fans from @pflagdurham Camp Rainbow Phoenix - 71 Adam CDs & more donated! TY 🌈😇
I know the camp has been posted about before but I guess I hadn't noticed there were a couple of videos to the kids from fans as part of it. Very nice of the camp counselor to make this vid. Great project.
🤔 I've never looked for that one video, but when I discovered this "Lambert-guy" the Long video with all his Idol-appearences on youtube was very helpful to somehow get him. Since I saw him first with Queen and had never heard of him before, that was a good start. So I somehow knew where he came from and was able to go on to what happened then. I think that also helped me to understand and appreciate his crazier stuff. If I had not seen him live in concert and with his family and friends, I truthfully might Not have been that open minded to some of his stuff that you can find on youtube. But having taken it all in, I can say now that Adam had shown and taught me a lot about our similarities and differences as Human beings. So long story short: I would start with a Song or concert performance you like, But don't forget a Video, that shows Adam's character. That's my opinion.😎
I think I watch that vid once a year I look back and he hasn't changed at all. Well, more experienced, handsomer, more self-assured, that type of thing, but the inner character was already a complete package.
