Can you imagine what Adam has had to go through...oh you sing and what about your sexuality.. made me cringe ,even though the rest of the interview has a lot of Adam's voice.. That was great to hear just how remarkable he has always been..Sure hope the next interview is all about his supreme talent In the note Adam wrote with the FS introduction, he said "I'm back in my power." He's taken control of his music and career, and he's also taken more control of what questions he's willing to answer. Noticed a while back in one of his IG conversations that someone asked about his sexuality, and he said something like it's old news and I used to feel I had to answer those questions. Also in person he's good at reframing questions he doesn't want to the subject he's there to talk about. Clearly he's more confident about whether or how to answer media and fan questions. Some of the interviews with all the gay questions might have been prevented a bit by his own publicity team laying ground rules on what he would answer or at least limit some of those questions.
In any event, it's upward and onward for Adam. His new team is much more aggressive in promoting him individually to suit what works for him and what he wants to do. He's in a good place right now, ie back in his power.
Oh the publicity team tried. That blowback led up to the AMAs.

Geez guys...the same pair of pics 10 times on one page [3]!!! That is really not necessary....good grief.... Not to mention multiple copies of the red pic too....seriously! ymmv I s'pose... It's from different official media sources from Adam and worth to mention it got posted there so you can like and share them on those media sources. Plus the pics were posted in different qualities which is important for some people. Scroll if you don't like. Those are amazing pictures of Adam. I don't mind looking at them a couple of times. We do scroll. That's why I'm like - those were from media sources? BBC? RollingStone? Oh, social media sites. I thought it was just from different fans or since I do most recent posts - different threads here. It did seem a ton more than normal. Usually he doesn't overload us all on the same day like that. And that explains why we see the same picture 3 days in a row sometimes. We used to have big discussions on here about what that does to mobile data users.

ok, so I'm bored and not much going on here so there's a question I have that our voice experts can answer for me. In FS, especially the live youtube, how much does Adam use his falsetto, if at all? My comparison would be to the first several live versions of GT where his falsetto was thin and he later changed all the parts to full voice. Does he have more control over his falsetto now or has he eschewed advice from the last producer (who told him to use his falsetto more) and stayed away from it since he can hit the notes in his normal range? Thanks

Dang, played numbers still going down on Spotify for FS. It's still showing up for me on the big Pop Right Now list. Good however on the followers and Shazams. I'm using chartmetric.io to track and it's pretty fun for something free.

Ok, some streaming and buying research. When you check Adam's Spotify "About" section it lists where his most listeners are from - all non - US with Mexico City and Brazil at the top. So why Mexico City? Ahh here is a Billboard article from late last year www.billboard.com/articles/business/8039392/mexico-city-top-market-for-artists-on-spotify-why which explains a bit and talks about independent singers and who's doing concerts in Mexico City etc. Ok so it's the 4th largest city on the planet but still why so high on streaming? If you still want a little reading then this Reddit entry www.reddit.com/r/OutOfTheLoop/comments/6h3mis/why_are_there_so_many_spotify_listeners_from/ goes into the details. Basically it's cheaper to stream than to buy - lots of phone plans come with free Spotify data usage and all of Mexico City is counted as one whereas New York City gets divided 3 or 4 sections by Spotify. Something that Billboard just tweeted was about a rock album coming in at #1 this week on the Billboard 200 - why? So you may remember Hozier from his song Take Me to Church - I still haven't figured out what makes Rock different because he's more folk, but oh well. His new album, "Wasteland (2nd album), had a debut week of 89,000 units is the largest for any rock album since Mumford & Sons’ Delta started with 230,000 units (chart dated Dec. 1, 2018). Wasteland also snares the largest sales week for a rock album since Delta, with 75,000 copies sold (Delta sold 214,000 in its debut frame). " (Timing seems a big deal here) Now note this - something we've probably begged for - sales combined with tour - yeah"Wasteland’s opening sum was aided by sales generated from a concert ticket/album sale redemption offer with Hozier’s U.S. tour, which begins tonight (March 10)."

She sure has worked with some pretty big names. Would be interesting to see if she and Adam did decide to do something together. And yes, labels do like to play it safe when it comes to signing artists. They're not big risk-takers. In an interview as in the YT video that I posted on the front page, she said that one of her bigger labels once listened to three of her new songs - one was "Muddy Waters" - and their feedback was, "nice, but we will drop you from our label now". It seems to be a money making business with low risk taking. I am not an immediate fan though... when I listened to Adam's IG stories of the concert I could not take the piercing sound of her voice. Find her on spotify (just search for LP) and play Lost on You etc. I didn't think the yt video showed great vocals either but the recorded is better. Muddy Waters definitely has some interesting production.

Think Danielle better keep her day job...lol. lol, I've heard Adam "singing" in the audience at a concert. He doesn't make much effort to sound good then either.

Lucky Tracks @lucky_tracks 7 tracks replaced in "Pop Right Now" (698K) , new tracks by @imjmichaels, @adamlambert, @haileesteinfeld + more This is really good. It's a big Spotify curated list, only 60 songs and with just under 700,000 followers. Now that doesn't mean all followers are listening. I've been experimenting with another tracking site that shows about 21,000 people have actually listened to the list. On the Windows App, FS shows up as added 4 days ago. FS so far does not show up if you just use the browser version of Spotify, you have to use the app. I've been playing by sorting by artist name which always puts Adam near the top, and then playing FS while clicking the cross-arrows at the bottom which shuffles the songs. That way I play Adam but I also patronize the list and hear some new music. Spotify algorithms supposedly look at how songs do once they are on these lists to determine if they get put on other lists.

My random reactions before hitting the sack tonight: So, Iggy's also with Empire. So Adam has company with someone we know the name of. That's a good thing! I think it is very sexy when one romantic partner wears an article of the other one's clothing. Shared sensuality. Javi's looks are very exotic. I think Adam is drawn to exotic-looking guys. Expressive eyes, defined cheekbones, jawline, lots of versatile hair. Runway model material. I think Javi looks very sassy in his outfit. Do I detect a bit of chest hair behind that shirt and tie? Kendrick Lamar is with Empire. So are many well know hip hop artists. You can hear Empire's current line up, including Feel Something, on their Fresh out the Rapper Spotify playlist open.spotify.com/playlist/1CJUPOKJjUMNyuzCIgFKcd

From what I gather, in addition to streaming, buying, and viewing, it certainly is a good thing to help keep circulating Adam's name on social media. My contribution is my presence on twitter by liking, retweeting and sharing important articles and posts in relation to Adam, plus I do leave positive comments on his YT videos every now and then - never more than one per day, but here and there when I view his videos. For instance, I have left numerous comments on Adam's acoustic live video and additionally I do "like" other comments that I agree with. I keep tweeting the mv out on a daily basis. Got more likes yesterday than ever before btw. Keeping Adam and Queen going by still talking about their Oscars performance can't be a bad thing either. Sorry about the ramble. I think Adam and Queen are the gift to each other that keeps on giving. (not only does their collaboration work, but they keep each other in the news and now they are both on the charts) I think your interactions on youtube are very good. I've been studying and I think the interactions, and not just streams, is important in their algorithms. I'll throw out another place that can be influential and that's reddit. Lot's of rules on how you can post or link things but there are glamberts in their pop section talking about Adam, they even have an Adam subreddit and a Queen subreddit. Still not nearly as busy as twitter or instagram but room for people to say something if you have more words than twitter likes or if you want more back and forth.
