One more post after a long absence here: I went to see my college team play football last night (great game and they won) and the band played both "Bohemian Rhapsody" and "We Will Rock You" at halftime. Despite that fact that I may have the very worst singing voice of any person who has ever lived, I could not resist singing along and just hope that the band was so loud that no one was forced to be tortured by my tone-deaf squawking and squealing.

I usually read this on my phone where I can't post so it's taken my awhile to get to my computer to post about the show in Vegas on 9/08 but here it is. My daughter and I had WONDERFUL time. The show was totally amazing and I really enjoyed watching the reactions of the couple next to me who had never seen a QAL show and told me how much they enjoyed the show. They especially like the special effects, Adam's "amazing voice" and seeing and hearing Brian and Roger. When we returned to our hotel, the MGM Grand, we met a few people in the elevator who had also just seen the show and they were absolutely beaming about what an amazing show it was. Now for the fun sorta stalker part (LOL): My daughter is a Howard Stern uber fan and she heard some performers discussing their residencies in Vegas and telling about their accommodations. They said that each large hotel has a special place behind the hotel where they accommodate the performers. Well, surely enough, when we went behind the MGM Grand (our hotel) there it was. It's called the MGM Mansion and you could see how beautiful it is. We waited until a limo with black tinted windows pulled in through the security gates to see the front entrance and I recognized it from some images Adam had posted. I also wanted to add that I got tickets for The Blue Man Group show at the Luxor for the night after we saw QAL and I highly recommend it. It was both fun and funny and those guys have some amazing talent. We laughed, we got splattered with mashed bananas, I participated by catching marshmallows in my mouth, and my daughter tried to avoid eye contact so she wouldn't have to participate but still had a great time.

I really haven't been able to keep up with news about the possibility of Adam releasing new solo music due to health problems that have caused me great pain and kept me mostly bedridden for the past few months (had one surgery and may need another one soon due to arthritis that is destroying my joints ). I have a question abut who Adam is signed with now, I mean who is his record company as we used to say when I was young? And, I must add, I am still going to see QAL in Vegas even if I need to rent a wheelchair and change to handicapped access seats - just don't know if I will be able to stand as I usually do for the concerts.

mixlr.com/miachihu/ is working but waiting for show to start at 2:30. Soo EXCITED!!! Lost most of my TV, phone and internet service because Comcast/Xfinity (my provider) must have been hacked. So glad that this part is remaining. When I try to call Comcast, it connects me to Verizon, their chief rival where I live. Funny hack but they'd better not mess with my concert reception.

Well I'd hardly call that anything. Earlier reports said he went too far and had to go back to find his stairs. I think that's what he always does because that's the direction the stairs face. I see nothing there either. I would not have called that a trip. Security was right there to help if he needed them but to me, it looks like he didn't need them.

Just my two cents about Idol this year. I never got into viewing it due to watching "Unforgotten" on my local PBS Sunday night (great show) and also because I'm not a big fan of any of the three judges. For me, Idol sort of ended after Adam and I was someone who had watched it and voted since season one. I did watch every later episode where Adam was on the show as a substitute judge, or a performer, or a mentor, or whatever but just felt that they would NEVER again have another contestant who could even approach Adam's talent.
However, I must admit that I have been watching X-Factor UK since it's been carried in the US and enjoy it immensely. Part of my enjoyment is that I really love the judges, especially Simon Cowell and Sharon Osbourne.
