"Confused" was probably not the right word - I just picked up on Brian's wording in his explanation - however, I am a bit surprised that the film's focus is so much on Freddie. I am sure there are reasons for it. My immediate reaction is that I would be more interested in the history of the band etc. but I will reserve judgement until I have seen the movie Freddie enthusiasts are probably thrilled. cheriemelissa No doubt!! I remember reading somewhere awhile back that Brian said the film would be basically Freddie's story so I wasn't surprised. Wish I could remember when Dr. Bri said that. Maybe in a tweet. That said, it looks like there will be plenty about the group interaction of all the band members. There must have been some ego clashes along the way but they stayed together which is more than can be said of most rock bands.

Keep getting no tickets available using Fan Club presale code and asking for best available. Trying every date. I was not home earlier so this is my first opportunity to buy tickets. GOSH DARN!!!! Maybe I'll try VIP.

I swear, what his team did to him was criminal! In tears! How sad! I too think that his "team" was almost criminal in their neglect of Tim as a person, not a commodity. My prayers are with his poor family.

So sad and shocking to read about Avicii's death at age 28. May he R.I.P.

I just wanted to share a nice story. My boyfriend and I are baseball fans and sometimes at games we get to see a live proposal. Well, at the last game that we went to there was yet another live proposal but this one was different from all of the previous ones that I had seen because instead of Jack proposing to Jill, Susan proposed to Carol. It was just like all of the other proposals because Susan got down on one knee and offered an engagement ring in a box to Carol who accepted the ring and then it ended with them kissing while we all watched on the jumbotron enormous screen. I did my usual screaming, applauding and clapping and I was joined by other members of the crowd also cheering on the newly engaged couple. I did wonder, however, if two guys kissing would have been as totally accepted as two women were. I certainly hope so and look forward to more happy couples of any gender sharing their love at a baseball game.

I think that the QAL show in Rotterdam is sold out of all the regular tickets and all Onstage tickets too. I don't speak Dutch but this what is says at the Amsterdam ticket site: Sorry! Er zijn op dit moment geen tickets beschikbaar Controleer het later nogmaals in het geval er extra tickets beschikbaar komen, of probeer één van deze opties: Klik hier voor meer opties (which takes you to another site where there are some VIP tickets left) www.ticketmaster.nl/event/queen-and-adam-lambert-tickets/215805

BTW, since I'm at my computer posting, I wanted to mention that I've been seeing JCS ads on TV in the last few days and they all mention just THREE characters and the actors who play them. There is NO mention of Judas at all, not his character nor the actor who portrays him. If Adam had been cast as Judas, that would have really bothered me.

Yes... TINA adamrocks! (we are big fans of Tina...lol0 I love Tina! She is truly one of a kind. Strong and fearless, and boy, what a singer! She and Adam would have made a great duo! BTW, I'm really disappointed tonight. PBS is running a series of documentaries about some classic rock bands. I saw the one on The Rolling Stones last week. The Bee Gee and Led Zeppelin are also on their schedule. Tonight it was supposed to be Queen! So after I watched This Is Us, I switched over to PBS to start watching it. But another program was on instead. I know that PBS sometimes switches things around. PBS is broadcast all over the country, so maybe some of you have seen one of these programs, maybe even the Queen one. I hope they do broadcast it in my area. I was looking forward to it. I read Adamtopia every day but rarely post anymore because now I read it on my phone and haven't been able to post there. BUT I saw that Queen documentary last week on my local PBS during their fundraiser week. It was called "Queen Rocks the World" and it was about the recording of "The News of the World" album and the tour of North America after the album. Very interesting to me of course but the ending was more than interesting to me. It was ADAMAZING!!! They showed Adam performing the finale at one of the 2017 North American shows while Brian talked about how they thought their touring days were done until Adam came along.

I have a question about Sirius Satellite Radio. I have it for the first time in my new car and want to know why there's no Queen Channel. They just announced the addition of a Lynyrd Skynyrd channel in the rock category and they already have LOTS of other artists such as Jimmy Buffet, Tom Petty, Pearl Jam and Bruce Springsteen who have their own channels so why not Queen? Since they play singles, albums and live shows on these channels, there is the possibility that some of the QAL concerts might even make it on the air.
