This is an interesting discussion, due to the fact that Queen has put out "Rainbow Room" and in November "Queen Forever", not to mention Roger Taylor has his solo music coming out in one collection. Queen is and has always been prolific musicians, but most importantly writers. By the time Freddie was ill, all four members of Queen had contributed to writing music. At that time Queen decided regardless of whose song it was all Queen was credited, which cut down on a lot of arguments. With regard to Adam, fans want his music, sooner than later and Queen has acknowledged that his music has priority with Adam. On the other hand, Queen has not written any new music, since the passing of Mercury and retirement of John Deacon. At this point, it's senseless to even consider anyone else to sing/collaborate with Queen on any new music, but I'd like to hear Adam's music, before he moves onto something else, with anyone else. Brian and Roger are completing projects, whether or not on tour, and seem to have it down to a science how to juggle multiple projects/activities, related to themselves singularly or as Queen. Love to see Adam learn a bit of this from them, so we get at least a single. Hadn't forgot about Rogers, was just referring to the stuf Queen is doing currently, while they are in/out of touring. Queen are the ultimate in multitaskers. Don't particularly care about Paul Rogers, due to his very critical remarks concerning Adam, prior to the first tour. Felt this was unprofessional of Paul, and negative, especially since he and Queen had parted ways.

I feel like Adam, his fans and supporters, delivered the NA Tour, selling the shows out. That in itself was quite a feat, as Queen in their heyday with Freddie were not able to do likewise. Have heard via Queen website, that some of the shows in Europe are selling a bit slowly, but perhaps it should be considered that this is the holiday season, and perhaps ticket sales will pick up prior to showtime. Even though a lot of us overextended outselves to attend one or more shows, it was more than worth it, but now in retrospect, we were spared tix purchases before the major holidays. Does anyone know any of the actual figures with regard to Europe?

I'm hoping that Adam will get the new music out while the "iron is hot", from the Queen collaboration. Probably Adam is taking a bit of a break after all the touring and traveling.

Guys - bringing this item over from yesterday. WHAT EXACTLY *IS* THIS?? It's a "DIABLERIE". Made from 1860-1900's they depict imaginery underworld scenes. They can be illuminated from the front and the back and are part of a Stereophonic series. Using a viewer the creatures eyes glow red and the images pop out at you in three dimension. Brian May found/obtained/ a series of frames. Due to the fragility and age of these items, they are highly sought after. May be wrong, but I think he even put some together for sale. He's a member of the Stereophonic society.

OTT. Brian May, alongwith 29 other artists is playing on the "God Only Knows", recording on YouTube. Apparently it's by the BBC, promoting music. This was originally a Beach Boys song and includes Brian Wilson with the other artists.

I'm just happy that the UK and Europeans have a chance to experience what a lot of us saw and felt at the shows. I was so appreciative of the vids, because I missed a lot, it was so much to see, hear and take in. Now everyone else can fully appreciate Adam's looks and talents, firsthand. We'll get his music, when it comes, maybe sooner than later, but this is a prime God given chance to increase Adam's fan base and stellar exposure. Hopefully, we'll get videos?????

Philadelphia, Pennsylvania has no hate crime statute. Two weeks ago, two gay men were badly beaten in Center City, Philadelphia, by a group of 15-20 people, men and women from Bucks County, which is a suburb of Philadelphia. As of Friday September 26th, three people have been charged with various charges, two men and one woman. Most people mistakenly thought that this was a hate crime, but since Philadelphia had no such law on the books, these people were not charged under the law, as having committed a hate crime. This group of people had shouted gay slurs, upon encountering the two gay men. Legislators met and demonstrated in Harrisburg, this week to protest and file motions to have crimes against sexual orientation covered under the law as a hate crime. There was a large LGBT rally in Philadelphia to show support for the two men, one of who will require facial surgery and has his jaw wired shut. I saw that! So sad and one of them was the sheriff's daughter! I suspect she thinks she can get away with anything!! Exactly. Philadelphia has more than it's share of big-city issues, but one thing we didn't need was some idiots from the suburbs coming here to insult and harm people who live here. So far, one guy who was the Assistant Coach at Archbishop Wood, either resigned or was fired and the female was suspended from her job and now is fired for this incident and posting hospital patient's x-rays on line. Clearly this young woman has some deep-seated issues. I was heartened to see the general outrage and protests by the citizens of Philadelphia against gay bashing. My 2 sons are gay.
