Great performance from Adam. And he looks sizzling HOT in that black leather. HA. Good start for Pride.

I hope Adam has some great Pride performances and I'm sure he will. And wishing him well on his new music.

Metal Vocalist First - Adam Lambert ( DOUBLE LIVE REACTIONS )
Adam rocked "Enter Sandman" with a very sexy and a bit naughty but tasteful performance. But "Underneath" is another one of his outstanding solo works that hardly anyone heard but us fans. Meaningful, beautiful and emotional and requires talent. That song is one that makes you feel something and it universally connects and is much deeper and even more liberating than overt sexual lyrics, imo. Adam is a master with rock and he can rock with the best of them. And love his gorgeous ballads that showcase his voice. Fingers crossed that we get more rock, pop-rock, soul and ballads from him in the future. He does them better than most.

This is not going to make any sense because this is a new time and new era for Adam. But I am still mourning over the pandemic cutting Velvet short. Post Javi and pre Oliver. Adam was on fire in concerts. He was sexy, mature, sophisticated, classy and edgy. He had really grown as an artist, imo. And his outfits were killer. He had his band and some cool and sexy organic dance moves and no dancers. El Rey, GMA, Youtube concert and other concerts. And his songs were meaningful and emotional (feel Something, Closer to You) and some rocking and fun like (Loverboy, Superpower). But in the LGBT community, is Adam viewed as not liberated and less queer unless he sings about his sex life or queer sex? I know, I know, I need to move on with his new stuff or not, lol.

Billie Eilish? She gets massive radio play and has many hit records with a major label behind her. Has won 9 Grammy's, 2 Oscars and won awards on different award shows in pop, alt and rock. She is a woman who recently came out as bi (after massive success) and she has never been limited and succeeds in multiple genres. She is 22 and close to the age of the kids who would buy the music. Even tho Adam said his young crew make him feel young, he is a 42 year old gay man (with extraordinary vocal abilities that should have been more recognized by the public) making raunchy pop/dance or club music. Adam is successful but he has never been highly accepted in Pop or dance/pop so I doubt he will suddenly rise now. And I don't think he even expects that. But he is doing it for himself and his community. And it makes him happy so that counts for a lot. From the beginning of his career, he has wanted the support of his community. This is their chance and I hope they deliver for him with half the worship and support they give to the divas. And I hope he has some great Pride performances.

Well… only 10 min slot…. Wishing to sing only his two new songs. Shortest slot of all artists… makes his “statement” re new his music and is off the stage! I see 30 min. 8:55-9:25 unless I'm looking at the wrong thing?

I don't either. Feel like we're in for an exciting year...we'll see how all this pans out. Never a dull moment with Adam. I am sorry all....I should just keep my mouth shut...and I have for close to 10 years or so. This has nothing to do with 'being fake' and assuming such a simple and negative inference is why it is so difficult for people to show all sides of themselves and why celebrities in particular have to hide who they are, to the detriment of their own sense of self. These concepts are the core of things like "Dress for success" and Impression Management....that is all it is. Adam is a master at it. This wild side of him is just that...one side of him. Some fans think when we see him with little make-up, that is the 'real' him. Some will see this wild side that way. Others will see the high fashion Adam as the 'real' ...still more the polite, self-effacing wonder we observed in China. It is all REAL and it is all conscious. But it is rarely, in all fairness, deserving of being called FAKE. And fake has nothing to do with what I said or meant. I won't go here again...or at least not for another 10 years, with any luck. Nothing to be sorry about. I was responding to the billboard article and the conversation about him being authentic or not. Most of us agree there are different sides of Adam as some pointed out. Some will like this stage and music direction and others will wait for another direction. Like the makeup and the weight debate, lol. I only stated my belief that he has not been faking his persona all these years but just likes to show different sides at different times. This is where he is now and he is going for it.

Adam has been with and without a major label over the years. He has always been gay. There have been many times he could do anything he wanted and there was no one to stop him. And there have always been some who wanted to see him throw caution to the wind and amuse them no matter what it meant for his career. So I'm going to go with those who say different sides presented for different audiences. But they are all the "real Adam". Right now, he wants his crew, his love and his community to be excited about his music and what he is doing. He is doing what he wants for now. We will see how much support he receives from his community. But there is no way I believe that everything Adam has done up to now has been fake. HA.

OT sorta: But Jlo's name has been thrown around as a replacement for Katy Perry on Idol. I know she is successful but her pop/dance act seems so outdated (compared to the younger acts and rap girls twerking) so I'm surprised she was in such demand. Jennifer Lopez’s $90 million Las Vegas residency controversially on thin ice
Jennifer Lopez, a pop icon whose career has spanned decades, is facing significant challenges as her highly anticipated Las Vegas residency deal at MGM Grand appears to be in jeopardy. The deal, initially valued at $1 million per show for a total of 90 shows, has come under scrutiny due to Lopez’s recent professional setbacks and declining star power. Accompanying the album’s release was the announcement of an ambitious tour. However, the tour faced disappointing ticket sales, leading to the cancellation of multiple bookings and a rebranding as a “Greatest Hits” showcase. This commercial underperformance has raised concerns among MGM Grand executives about her ability to draw crowds to her Las Vegas residency. www.msn.com/en-us/music/news/jennifer-lopez-s-90-million-las-vegas-residency-controversially-on-thin-ice/ar-BB1ncWlD?ocid=hpmsn&cvid=63b721b2096242e9b8237dc72285ad10&ei=41
