NIGHTOWL - Sorry for the delay in my response from your additional questions yesterday. You are correct that Spike does partially block the view of the entire stage. Basically, you can't see much of Roger or Tyler, but you have the big screens to help you with that. You don't see Adam when he is in front of Spike, but when he's on the main stage, he's moving around a lot. Brian and Adam's interaction on the main stage are a ways away, since Brian is usually on the other side. But you do see their expressions really well, usually a side view, but precious! As I said, you get a very close view of Adam when he moves to the side of the stage where the stage seats are located - many times it's his back, but what a lovely backside indeed! One cool thing is that you see the platform that Brian is on for his guitar solo moving up and down, which the rest of the audience can't see - very impressive. You also have a good view of Adam when he sings WWTLF and the small platform he is on when it descends at the end of the song. The confetti cannons at the end of the concert are spectcular from that vantage point!
Be sure to give us your impressions of your concerts!!

NIGHTOWL, I was just catching up with yesterday's thread, and saw your question about the stage seats. and whether they are worth the extra price. Yes, you do have a good view of Spike's back and knees (which is fun in itself to be close to see him play his keyboard and interact with the band), but you also have an incredible view of the arena. It really gives you an entirely new perspective of the show, and you see what the band members see from the stage. For instance, during Brian's selfie stick time, it was so impressive to see the audience's participation as his camera wandered around the arena. You also see the band's interaction while they are on the main stage, and when Adam comes to that side he is RIGHT THERE! (Unfortunately he didn't interact with us, but he was usually on the move when he was on that side of the stage). Neil really interacted with us every time he came by - grinning at us and giving us a nod. All the smart phone lights are also amazing during such songs as "Love of My Life" and before the encore. I had my stage seat for my third show. I probably wouldn't recommend it if it was your only show (which it isn't) because you can't fully appreciate many of the special effects from that vantage point. But to me, it was about the best sound I heard (this was in Kansas City; I was also in Phoenix and Denver) - this could certainly vary depending on the arena.
The backstage tour that comes with that package is very interesting, and the highlight of my stage seat experience came when Brian came out to greet, hug and talk with us during the backstage tour. I haven't seen others from other shows say that he did that for them - I feel so blessed to have had that experience with Brian - that in itself made the price of the stage seat worth it!! It still seems like a dream that I met him! They emphasize no M & G's and no cameras during this tour, so that was a total surprise.
Of course, you can't see the B stage well from there, but the big screens really help. I was a bit disappointed that we weren't actually on the stage, as they were in 2014, but it still was an excellent seat. And you get to know your fellow attendees very well, as you are spending quite a bit of time with them. If you're lucky like I was, they were very generous in rotating around so we all had our chance in the front row. Out of the 10 of us, only 2 of us were Glamberts, but the Queen fans were wonderful, and all of them commented that they thought that Adam was spectacular. Such precious memories!!! Whatever you decide, have a blast!

Update from Texas. Here is a link to an article about the area I live in. www.huffingtonpost.com/entry/small-towns-harvey_us_59a968ade4b0354e4409bf79?ncid=APPLENEWS00001My stepmother's church has helped her pull out all the flooring and sheetrock from her flooded home. Now she has to wait for the insurance adjuster to come look at everything which has been scheduled for September 14. My mom and stepdad were finally able to get to their home today. It looks like they got anywhere from 10 to 14 inches of water in their house. They will begin to pull out flooring today. I was supposed to go back to work today, but that was cancelled because Beaumont still has no water supply. Now they are saying we won't be able to go back to work until Beaumont has water again. This is the beginning of the second week of no work and it may take up to 2 more weeks for repair of the pumps for Beaumont's water supply. Yesterday I was going to try to get to my grandmother's house which is normally about a 20 minute drive for me. I spent 3-1/2 to 4 hours going from the 23rd street exit to just past the 32nd street exit. That's when I decided to bail off and go home. Everything coming east to Louisiana was routed through my area because interstate 10 through Vidor and Rose City was shut down with water over the highway. They finally reopened interstate 10 around 6:00 yesterday evening. What a holy mess everything is right now. I could barely get down my stepmother's street due to all the debris being piled out of all the houses. It is a sickening sight to see neighborhood after neighborhood with utter destruction. Really depressing. Oh, Lulu, so sorry to hear your latest news. What a horrible catastrophe! I can't even imagine the angst of dealing with all of this, and your loss of income also. It is so unbelievable that I can barely wrap my head around it. Thoughts and prayers coming your way!

Happy Labor Day to everyone who celebrates it today!
Lulu, thanks so much for your update yesterday. Glad to hear you could make it to the store, and that your family members are safe. Beaumont has certainly taken a horrible hit, along with so many communities along the Gulf Coast. Living without running water for so many days must be just horrible. Hoping that things get back to some sense of normalcy soon!
I'm sorry to hear about your experience with the Red Cross. In a natural disaster, I had just the opposite experience five years ago when I was evacuated for ten days here in southwest Colorado due to a horrendous forest fire (thankfully, due to extraordinary efforts by the local and national fire response teams, no homes were lost). Resources were spread very thin due to another horrendous fire that was taking place in Colorado Springs at the same time. The Red Cross made arrangements for pets, horses and livestock, helped to locate lost animals, ran a 12 hour a day center with counselors on hand to assist victims, ran a shelter for evacuees with food, sleeping arrangements and everyday necessities (coordinated with local businesses for the food, etc), supplied clean up kits for those whose homes had been "foamed", and were available to help the evacuees in any way they could. I talked to several of the volunteers, and many had been on the road for two months or more, traveling all over the western US to assist with forest fire efforts for the many thousands whose homes were threatened or destroyed by fire during that horrible fire season. Maybe things are handled differently in assistance efforts with major hurricanes. All I can say in my case is that they were a calming presence and a beacon of light during such a stressful time. I even found a volunteer who was also a Glambert - talk about a wonderful connection at such a time! And may Adam and Adam's house remain out of danger with this horrible LA fire!
As for the dolls, I find them a little creepy too, but am amazed at the talent to create them.

Cassie, I didn't have a chance yesterday to chime in about wanting Angelina's input about Adam's voice. Yes, yes, yes!!!! I love reading your posts concerning his extraordinary voice, and I have learned so much from you. I'm sorry to hear that some Adam fans were negative towards Angelina's posts, and I would welcome her expert analysis. Adam's voice affects me like none other, and I have been a huge music fan for most of my life (going to my 50th high school reunion in a week, so I've certainly been around awhile!!) His voice pierces my heart every time I hear him sing - no other singer can do this to me. The more I can learn about his technique and ability, the more I can appreciate our "gift from God".

Oh, lulu! Stay safe! ❤️❤️ lulu.....I'm so sorry you're having to go thru all this. I've had the news on all morning and the visuals are so sad. Lulu, as the others have said, please stay safe! I have a sister and brother-in-law in Houston, and they are one of the very fortunate ones with no flooding in their home, just a leaky roof. This is such a horrible storm, and so many, many thousands at risk. Thoughts and prayers are with you!

So glad to hear from you! The pictures on the news are devastating. You may be stuck in your neighborhood for a while. Hope the pantry is stocked and your power stays on. I have a cousin who lives close to Houston. Their home is intact, but the flooding and rain around them is terrible. My cousin's wife has temporarily moved to their daughter's home, away from the flooding. My cousin is able to stay at the their house so he can keep an eye on things and help out where needed. It's a real mess down there. I have a sister and brother-in-law who live in Houston, near the Galleria area. They have e-mailed us that they are safe and dry, but have moved to their local shelter. Don't know if their house is still OK. My other sister and brother-in-law live in South Carolina, and were evacuated for a week last fall during Hurricane Matthew, and their house was fine when they returned. It is so heart-wrenching when close family is in the midst of such a disaster! I was evacuated for 10 days due to a horrendous forest fire close to my Colorado home five years ago, and I know the horrible angst when you don't know if your house is OK. But thankfully, my sis and her husband are safe, and that is the most important thing. Hoping all Adamtopians in the Texas coast areas are safe also!!!

Lelemaple and Patti, so pleased you got to meet Dr.Brian again ......he seems such a nice man....glad Adam has him as a friend.😊 He's so sweet and just a wonderful man. Feel very fortunate. So happy that you two were able to meet the dear Dr. Bri again! When our backstage tour group in KC had the amazing, totally unexpected chance to meet and talk with Dr. Bri (also genuine hugs for all of us), my impression was that he is a most gracious, warm and humble man. And so appreciative of his fans and Adam! He was very impressed that this was my third show. Unfortunately, no pics, as the staff was most emphatic that there were to be no cameras allowed (as well as no M & G's, which is why we were all so stunned when Dr. Bri came out to meet with us!). Many many years ago I was at an album signing with John Denver at a record store. No pictures allowed, just signing of his album. I had been waiting in line for about 2 1/2 hours, and they decided time was up. I was next in line and hadn't had a chance to pay for the album yet that I was holding in my hand. I went up to John and gave him a piece of paper to sign, and he very rudely said "I only sign stuff". I was taken aback and threw a hissy fit (which is not like me to do in public). The store manager quickly saw a big problem, and rapidly took my credit card to pay for the album, which John then signed with "Peace!" - John Denver. To this day that is a raw memory for me, and I was so very disappointed with his attitude and his treatment of me. I know celebrities must get very weary of M and G's, album or book signings, or meeting fans out in public, etc. But no way could I ever see Adam or Brian treating a fan this way!

Thank you Patti for your great recap and for all of the goodies you have given us from last night! So wonderful to hear about it from a Glambert who was there. OMT is also one of my favorite George Michael songs, and what a performance by Adam!! I shiver with delight when he sings with that bluesy tone. Reminds me of hearing "Red House" on NYE in Oklahoma. I swear I would have made that long drive from Albuquerque just to hear that one song, and that striking one note in particular. Just like it was worth the price of that ticket for you to hear those three songs live last night. At times like these, wish I lived closer to southern Cal. Adam just continues to amaze us, doesn't he?

Seeing that picture of the American Airlines Arena brought back such wonderful memories when I saw QAL there three years ago! Wish I could be back there tonight, but RL interfered. But so thankful that I made it to three concerts this tour. Everyone attending the Dallas concert tonight - ENJOY!!!
