The Shady, Lay Me Down, Fever combo he does is one of his best live show segments. Love it every time I see it!
Those two dads sure do know a supreme voice when they hear it. WWTLF is in good hands with Adam.

Just what I needed this morning! Adam wowing the pants off people once again. Always gives me a rush and a sense of validation that yes, I did pick the right guy to follow.

Love that little Adam guy! Sharka is the best at capturing the essence of Adam. The beauty, the humor, the twinkle in his eye.

First, as per lurleene's post about Adam's career trajectory after Idol, I think, among all those other things, is that he just got on the show a bit too old. Late twenties. Too old for a young teen fanbase to follow for very long. And lurleene did mention this, too. So many factors played a part in his unexpectedly bumpy ride that began his solo career. Considering all of that, he's doing pretty darn well. He compensates by doing lots of other things. And there is always new music on the horizon regardless of label, radio, management, whatever. He's still right in there kicking vocal ass.
Too bad about The Wild, but it sounds like it was a good move for him to get out. Don't know what Oliver's involvement is, but he seems to like being there and keeping busy. Hope we get a few Voice vids.

Adam was in very good company with Max Martin and Dr. Luke. They worked with all the biggies. Too bad they didn't take him to the highest heights like they did with the others. I'll never figure it out.

Haha! I always love hearing from Eber. He is very funny. He has always said that Adam cried a lot as a baby. His lungs are really strong. LOL
As to our (my) angsting about Adam's career, I do realize that there are plenty of artists out there who would do anything to be at his level.

Good points, lurleene. Bottom line, Adam deserves more US media exposure and also get his music played, for cryin' out loud.

It is beautiful to see how the UK has adopted Adam. It seems he gets far more praise and exposure in the UK. I wish the US would give him the kudos he so deserves. Somehow I don’t think they ever will. I think about that all the time. While other countries seem to "get" Adam 100%, the US just seems clueless about him. Sure, he does some TV here and there and does his one-offs and mini tours. But he doesn't get the media attention in the US that he deserves. He's a great guest on a talk show, but he does virtually none here. And BTW, I think he'd make a great host on a show of his own. Maybe someday. The US is just asleep at the wheel when it comes to Adam, while the rest of the world eats him up. It's got to frustrate the heck out of him.
